BalenaEtcher for Linux

BalenaEtcher is a free tool for writing operating system images to microSD cards for Raspberry Pi single-board computers. Etcher’s user interface is straightforward and simple to use. How to Download BalenaEtcher:

BalenaEtcher is available for free and can be downloaded from the Balena website.Simply visit the website, click the “Download” button, and follow the instructions to download and install BalenaEtcher on your Linux computer.

• First, launch your browser (Firefox is default for Ubuntu).
• Then, search for ‘Balena Etcher’ or click here to go to Etcher’s main website.
• Select the installation package and press the Download button.
• Click Save File and then OK.
• When the download is complete, double-click the application to launch it.
• Select where you want to extract the file by clicking Extract.
• When the extraction is complete, navigate to the location where the application was extracted. Before we run the AppImage, we must ensure that it has permissions. Right-click the AppImage file and choose Properties.
• Next, go to Permissions and check the box next to Allow executing as a programme.
• Finally, run BalenaEtcher by double-clicking the AppImagefile.
