Do the XDS560v2 models replace XDS560-class emulators?
The quick answer is yes, unless you have projects that still require CCS v3.3 and/or use High-Speed Real Time Data eXchange (HS-RTDX). All Blackhawk XDS100v2, XDS510 and XDS560-class emulators support CCS v3.3 and later. Does your emulator support CCS v3.3 and later?
Can I replace my XDS510 emulator with an XDS200 model?
In general, you can replace your XDS510 emulator with an XDS200-class emulator if you are using CCS v5.2 or later and not debugging C24x, C62xx, C670x/1x/2x or C641x devices (C64x+ devices, such as C6455 and C674x are supported). For the latest information, please visit the TI XDS200 Wiki page.
