Bluetooth® v4.0 Dual Mode USB Adapter – LM506 combines Bluetooth® v2.0, v2.1 and v3.0 + HS standards along with the Bluetooth® v4.0 standard, enabling the adapter to communicate with both traditional Bluetooth® and Bluetooth low energy enabled devices.

Description

The LM506 Bluetooth® 5.0 compliant dual mode adapter is a small, simple and highly compatible solution. A plug and play USB adapter, compatible with Linux, macOS and Windows XP to Windows 10 platforms, allowing your host computer to wirelessly communicate with other nearby Bluetooth® v2.0, v2.1 and Bluetooth® v4.1 enabled devices (such as the iPhone and Android devices), providing a low energy connection and high quality data stream. The LM506 has many possible uses e.g. within an iBeacon and a data logger. Typically used in industries such as EPOS, M2M and automotive and is ideal for developing voice and data applications. Description

The LM068 is the world’s smallest Bluetooth® 5.0 serial adapter (RS232), providing a secure and reliable Bluetooth® 5.0 connection. Designed to replace RS232 cables between a master (DTE) device and slave (DCE) devices such as printers, data loggers and digital signalling devices. This standalone adapter incorporates a micro-controller unit with an 8 Mbit flash memory for running the application. The firmware controls the RS232 signals, including DTR / DSR handshaking and RTS / CTS flow control lines. The AT Command set is used to change the configurations, plus the developer can also configure and modify the settings of a remote LM068 from a local LM068. Customised configurations and settings can be preloaded to the LM068, simplifying the manufacturing and testing process. We also offer Bluetooth® Dual Mode applications, which can be customised to your specification. The module can be used as a bridge between Bluetooth® 5.0 and is backward compatible with 2.0, v2.1 and Bluetooth® v4.0, v4.1 devices, using our SPP to Serial Bridge application. We also offer SPP with GAP Central and SPP or GAP Peripheral applications.
