Особенности Bluetooth

Что нужно знать о технологии :

1. Первую версию интерфейса разработали в 1998 году. В телефонах “синий зуб” появился в 2000 году, в моделях Ericcson R520m и T36m.
2. Актуальная версия Bluetooth 5.2 была разработана в 2020 году, первые смартфоны с технологией стали появляться на рынке во второй половине 2021.
3. Все ревизии блютуз имеют обратную совместимость. Пользователи могут передать файлы с устройства с поддержкой BT 5.0 на BT 4.2 и ниже или наоборот.
4. Радиус действия технологии на смартфонах составляет порядка 10 метров. Ослабляют сигнал препятствия и приборы, работающие на той же частоте 2.4 ГГц.

С каждой новой версией разработчики увеличивают скорость передачи данных и уменьшают энергопотребление, развивая режим работы LE (Low Energy).

Как настроить Bluetooth

Что могут сделать пользователи :

• изменить имя девайса;
• включить режим видимости;
• переименовать подключенные девайсы;
• разорвать ранее созданное сопряжение.

Набор доступных функций может отличаться в зависимости от прошивки девайса и версии ОС.

Активация и включение видимости

Включают/отключают БТ двумя способами. Первый :

1. Разверните шторку быстрого доступа.
2. Тапните по ярлыку «Bluetooth».

1. Откройте «Настройки». Перейдите в «Bluetooth».
2. Переведите тумблер в активное положение напротив названия функции.

Не выходя из параметров, активируйте «Видимость». Это нужно, чтобы другие девайсы в зоне досягаемости могли найти и передать информацию на устройство. Опция бывает спрятана в дополнительном меню, размещенном в правом верхнем углу.

На старых моделях телефонов, видимость включается, когда юзер находится в параметрах BT.

Не выходя из настроек технологии :

1. Включите BT и режим видимости сразу на двух девайсах.
2. Зайдите на основном аппарате в параметры технологии. В списке «Доступные устройства» тапните по названию второго аппарата.
3. На другом телефоне появится запрос о синхронизации. Щелкните по «Принять».

Turning on Bluetooth with an iPhone

Go into the settings app from the main menu. The settings application gives you various options to modify your phone and change other application settings.

Tap the switch next to Bluetooth. This will turn on Bluetooth and automatically search for devices that are near enough to connect to.

Use the control center. Most iPhones require an update that adds Apple’s Control Center. While your phone is on, simply swipe up from the bottom of the screen. Press the center button near the top of the control center (it has a the Bluetooth logo on it).

Accessing Bluetooth on an Android Device

How to Get Internet With a Bluetooth-Enabled Cell Phone

Using your Bluetooth-enabled cell phone as a modem for internet access on your laptop is great in a pinch when there’s no Wi-Fi service available or your regular internet service goes down. However, all the data downloaded to and uploaded from your laptop is using your phone’s data plan. Keep an eye on data usage to avoid unexpected overage surcharges or data caps.

This method pairs your phone with your computer, connecting them over a Personal Area Network (PAN).

1. Activate Bluetooth on your phone (usually found under the Settings menu) and set your phone to be discoverable or visible to other Bluetooth devices. If you’re on an iPhone, turn on Bluetooth from Settings >Bluetooth. Android devices enable Bluetooth through the drop-down menu at the top of the screen. Pull down the menu and tap the Bluetooth icon.

If you can’t find the Bluetooth program manager, try using your computer’s search utility to find a program with the word Bluetooth anywhere in it, since you might be unknowingly using special Bluetooth software.

If you aren’t prompted on your laptop for the type of service to use with your Bluetooth phone, try going into the options menu of your Bluetooth application to find that setting.

What You Need
