I bouth it a month ago and so far it’s working great. I needed portable speaker and I can tell that this device is meeting all my expectations. The sound is great and I love the multi connection option for up to 100 devices if it works.

I received this unit as a promo after I purchased a 65CX TV. It is a solid unit. It’s just fair if not using the sound boost. I don’t utilize the colors as I use it on my work desk for streaming calls. So far so good. I will try adding it to my TV along with the sound bar I have to see if it adds any benefits.

I’ve been using the PL-7 for a week now. It sounds so good that I’m no longer switching my LG tv’s SN6Y over to stream for phone. The portability is nice. My kitchen is actually tidier now since I move the PL-7 to whatever room I’m in.
The bass is great for such a small unit. Phone app is easy to use. While I’ve shut the lighting off, the battery charge is outstanding.
May get a second one to try pairing feature.

I bought this as dual-purpose device — to use as a BT portable speaker with some water resistance but also as a BT speakerphone for zoom calls and other audio/vido phone calls on my iPhone. The Speaker portion works pretty well and the quality of the sound is as expected for a device in this price range and size. And the app allows for some customization of the sound including equalization. However the most disappointing part of the use which makes this almost useless as a speakerphone is that the microphone is buried somewhere and has such low sensitivity as well as no app adjustable sensitivity, so on a phone call the other party can barely hear you unless you are practically shouting! I hope LG can make a firmware update for the XBOOM app so the mic sensitivity can be increased to balance the level of audio out vs mic voice in during a call. If this can be done I can increase the star rating to 4 or better. But for now it is unusable in the original dual-purpose usage as intended. It is a shame since this is something they should have done from the beginning if it were to be useable as a speakerphone as well as just a speaker.
