Specifically, if I attempted to open an application while screen sharing, my connection would be terminated, and the same issue arose if I accessed the internet before screen sharing.

Here is a guide on how to connect to wireless internet without having to remove your ethernet cable.

  1. Access the «Network Status» feature in Windows 10 by opening the Network and Sharing Center.
  2. Access the «Change Adapter Settings» option, which may be labeled as «Change adapter options» on Windows 10.
  3. Access the Local Area Network properties.
  4. Access the properties of Internet Protocol version 4 by clicking on it.
  5. Click on Advanced
