Installing Kali Linux on Laptop — Detecting Network Hardware

I’ve been trying to install Kali Linux 1.0.6 32bit for the past few hours to no avail.
Every time I try to install I get stuck at the «Detecting network hardware» stage. In text installation it just goes to a blue screen. I’ve tried Ctrl+C a lot, but it did not help. In graphic installation it just gets stuck with a blank screen titled «Detecting Network Hardware» and nothing changes. I’ve left this stage in both installation types for about 20 minutes to see whether something would change, but nothing did.
I’ve tried disabling the network adapter in BIOS prior to booting, tried putting the network device boot first in BIOS, tried wireless and wired connection to the internet during the installation, but nothing worked.
Later I’ve tried making an installation loader from my Windows 7 (I’m trying to install Kali Linux side by side with my Windows 7), and I was able to skip the stage as I could choose what stage I’m doing, however then it failed to install the GRUB boot loader because it couldn’t install to /target/ or something like that.
I could pass this stage perfectly when choosing the install kali linux from the live system boot, however it doesn’t have the use largest continous free space.
I have tried to install both from a cd and a usb, however they both have the same results.
I don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve looked up in threads on the forums about this topic, but nothing helped. If anyone had this problem and knows how to fix it, it would be much appreciated.
I’m trying to install Kali Linux on my laptop — Samsung R580, if that helps.
I’ve tested the installation on my desktop pc, and it passes this stage with no problem, so it seems as if the problem is only with my laptop or laptops in general.
Laptop specs:
GPU: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470
CPU: intel core i5 M560 2.67 GHz
Broadcam 802.11n network adapter
Detect network hardware
Is it because Kali Linux hasn’t been well installed on my external drive? What do I have to do?
The non-free firmawre isn’t included on the kernel
Download the missing firmware from here, copy it to your USB device the plug in your device and restart detection
Also you can skip this steps and install the iwlwifi later:
git clone https://github.com/OpenELEC/iwlwifi-firmware.git cd /iwlwifi-firmware/firmware cp iwlwifi-8000* /lib/firmware

When I tried to install Kali Linux, I encountered a little issue on its configuration. In Detect network hardware , it is indicated :
Some of your hardware needs non-free firmware files to operate. The firmware can be loaded from removable media, such as a USB stick or floppy. The missing firmware files are iwlwifi-8000C-21.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-20.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-19.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-18.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-17.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-16.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-15.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-14.ucode iwlwifi-8000C-13.ucode
Is it because Kali Linux hasn’t been well installed on my external drive? What do I have to do? P.S. So far the network configuration can’t be autoconfigure. The only way it works is if I configure it manually.

Detect Network Hardware Issue during KALI installation.
I have downloaded kali 2021 version, during installation there is a problem with detect network hardware, shows some missing firmware, even the older versions had similar problems.
Can any one help get around this.
i have tried ways from different forums tried sourcing files individually, nothing has worked so far. I am using dell xps 15 laptop. Due to this i can not install the os as base operating system. Successful Installation of Kali works only if i use USB Tether internet connection from mobile, how ever WIFI does not work post installation, the terminal title bar are extremely small , fonts change size but terminal title bar and text in preference tab, close minimize maximize restore are barely readable with as little distance as 2 feet away screen.
may be its not the right way to say it but i am unable use network manager for trouble shooting. however, when i install it in the virtual box using windows as a base operating system, inside virtual box installation is a breeze. Anyone help on this topic, please?
