Just got these drivers working on XP SP2 for a LASER USB Bluetooth Dongle. Had to edit .inf PID and VID. Working sweet now. You rock!
Alexandria New Member
Where do you get the hardware ID? I have looked in the device manager and found nothing in regards to bluetooth. I upgraded from SP2 to SP3 of Windows XP and now my bluetooth doesn’t work. the files are still hidden on my PC and after a very exaustive search I was able to locate them but they just don’t work. I bought a generic dongle and tried your advice by downloading and installing the drivers but so far I cannot get them to install or get my dongle installed and I didn’t know what hardware ID to use to get them to install. can someone please help me?

Hey guys. If you experience problems with drivers posted here here is the trick:
I use XP 64 and these XP 64 drivers have not worked fine for me. So what i’ve done.
In the zip archive you will find file bth.inf — this is the main thing you will need.
Now right-click on My computer (dongle is already inserted) -> Hardware -> Device Manager. In the device manager window found your ISSCEDRBTA device and double click on it then select Details tab. Select property Hardware Ids. This will look smthing like this:
Here you need this info: USB\Vid_1131&Pid_1004. Copy it with Ctrl+C. Now go open that bth.inf file and find there descriptions of devices. This looks like:
Now find similar row and copy it and at last paste your dongle Hardware Id in there. That’s it!
Now follow the instructions in the first post by Nimrod.
Hope this will help someone and excuse my english

Driver for ISSCEDRBTA Bluetooth Dongle in Windows XP SP2 and SP3 | Page 2 | Digiex Microsoft Stacks and A2DP & AVRCP
First off, thanks for the information, I’m finally getting to use my BT dongle to sync my phone and transfer files.
I also have BT headphones that I’m trying to connect, does not seem to be working.Does anyone know if the Microsoft stack support A2DP and AVRCP?

Thanks Nimrod.
Will you add support for Human Interface Device Service? I want to make my Sony-Ericsson mobile phone remote controller.
Thanks again.

If there is help, I will gladly donate, it’s cost me more in time!
I have tried ruthlessly to get my D-Link DBT-120. B4 to work with Vista. No go. If I purchase this or this type will this driver allow the Bluetooth to show up in «My Computer,», or «Computer» in Vista? What I am trying to do is have my Lg Vu 920 paired and if it shows in «Computer» then I can drag and drop. Any input?? Thanks. oh may as well admit. pretty new at solving issues like this.

I’m having a strange problem!
The drivers are installed in my system and the device manager also shows the bluetooth device connected. But no file transfer occurs! When I right click on a file and click «send to bluetooth device», it shows that box of file transfer, but in the end says
«The file could not be sent because the connection could not be established. Check to make sure the Bluetooth radio is plugged in.»
The device is plugged in, so I wonder why is this displayed.
This happened since I have updated my system to SP3 from SP2.
Please help!

The driver could need updating to be SP3 compatible as they are based on SP2 code, off hand I’m not sure if the Bluetooth stack has changed in SP3 but if so it could be why people are having problems.

Driver for ISSCEDRBTA Bluetooth Dongle in Windows XP SP2 and SP3 | Digiex Bluetooth Dongle ( ISSCEDRBTA) Driver for Windows XP SP2 and SP3
Purchased one of those cheap USB dongles for only 5 dollars but found to use it you need to spend money on the software? Or if you have found a cracked version or actually bought it and found its useless and wanted to use the built in Bluetooth in Windows XP SP2 or 3? Well now you can!
(Note: Design can vary and may not look like above)
What I have done is modified the Bluetooth driver file that comes with XP SP2, to include this dongle by adding its hardware ID to the supported devices list.
Before you can install this, you must make sure you have updated your XP to at least Service Pack 2, as this included the Bluetooth Support Addon.
To install, download and extract all the files somewhere, like for example on your desktop in a folder called Bluetooth drivers. Then plug the stick in, Windows will fail to find the drivers and ask you to either provide a location for them, or provide a CD. Provide the location and give Windows the folder location of the extracted drivers. Windows will now install the drivers and your Dongle will be ready for use.
You should now be up and running with the Windows Bluetooth Interface, which you can find in Control Panel or in the System Tray.
You have now got a dirt cheap Bluetooth Adaptor to work fully without having to pay extra for any rubbish software.

Download is below for Windows XP SP2 and above.
