Есть ли аналог DriverPack для Linux?

Если под драйверпаком Вы подразумеваете фиговыну сканирующею систему и автоматом устанавливающею драйверы, то под линукс этого вроде нет. Из коробки большинство устройств линукс поддерживает, а для тех которые не поддерживаются есть репы разработчиков, ну или тарбалы на их сайтах.

Хасан Истамкулов: да интересует тулза, которая могла бы просканить систему и выдать список, а лучше установить те дрова, которых нет

Эталонное ненужно для Debian. ибо проприетарные драйвера для устройств указанных фирм есть в non-free. PAE включён в ядрах с суффиксом 686-pae.

В винде нету репозитория, а драйвер-паки и отдельные драйвера с сайтов разработчиков очень помогают.
В виде можна даже образ-инсталл пропатчить нужными драйверами, а драйвера нужные после установки Винды, — положить в отдельную папку в iso-образ винды, или положить в папку рядом с iso-образом, и потом самому устанавливать.
Но уж точно в Винде не приходится создавать драйверы в Visual Studio,командной строке или еще чет такое.
Ведь в ОС нужно работать, а не допиливать ее да и еще в таких вещах как драйверы.

melissa533879, хех. если драйвер для винды устарел, то ему звезда. полная звезда.
дома так два сканера и принтер стоят, отданных изза того что нет драйверов.
а имея исходники можно подпилить драйвер под новое ядро.
