В Steam имеется ряд полезных функций, которыми по незнанию далеко не все пользуются. В данном руководстве речь пойдёт о простой настройке DualShock 4 или любого другого геймпада. Steam позволяет играть с геймпадом без стороннего софта, настроить под себя для каждой игры вручную или же воспользоваться уже готовыми решениями от сообщества.

Для начала нужно найти в левом верхнем углу Steam→Настройки, а затем в категории Контроллер нажать Основные настройки контроллера:

В появившемся окне необходимо поставить галочку на Польз. настройки PlayStation, если вы используете геймпад PS4:

Если вы используете другой геймпад, то поставьте галочку на подходящем для вас варианте.

Выбрав ваш контроллер в Обнаруженные контроллеры можно зайти в Настройки:

Здесь можно дать название геймпаду, отк/вкл вибрацию и настроить подсветку DualShock 4:

Если вы что-то изменили, то нажмите Принять. Затем Назад и Ок в настройках Steam.

Теперь перед запуском игр с подключённым геймпадом можно смело нажимать на Настройки контроллера:

В появившемся окне можно настроить все кнопки по вашему усмотрению, в том числе тачпад DualShock 4. Например, использовать правую и левую части тачпада в виде отдельных кнопок, на которые можно назначить даже клавиши клавиатуры, чтобы иметь под рукой быстрое сохранение или что вам угодно. Если же вас не интересует ручная настройка, то жмите на Список настроек:

В Сообщество можно найти готовые настройки, а самые популярные сразу видно по количеству голосов и времени:

Стоит отметить, что большинство игр будет считать DualShock 4 за геймпад Xbox и безукоризненно работать со стандартной раскладкой без необходимости использовать настройки сообщества или ручные. Как правило, интерфейсы игр будут показывать кнопки Xbox, но привыкнуть не составит большого труда.

Не было никаких траблов, но настал кошмарный день.
DS 4 спокойно подключался по блютузу, справа снизу из трея сообщение о успешной загрузке профиля Dualshock 4, в играх кнопки от ПС4, биг пикчер работает, геймпад видит.
И тут стим начинает угарать по полной:
-не видит по блютузу геймпад
-DS4windows работает, но при запуске стим геймпад отваливается. будто бы программы конфликтуют
-при запущенном стиме в устройствах статус только сопряжено/связано, без подключено. Будто стим не дает тупо законнектиться
-по проводу стим сразу все подтягивает как надо
Может быть связано с тем, что valve обновили Big Picture недавно? Разок даже подключиться получилось, но через пару минут дропнуло соединение и тишина.

(перезагрузи, обнови драйвера, работает ток xbox геймпады — к р и н г е)

короче, после обновы «Beta Steam» контроллер можно подключить, но не на долго (вырубается через некоторое время), +работает не стабильно (стики сами дергаются в игре). Это хороший знак того что разрабы хотя-бы заинтересованы в решении проблемы.

тоже самое. как обновил стим. 1 февраля. так геймпад и перестал работать по блютузу в стиме. горит голубым цветом и всё. не реагирует. даже если отключить стим. вытащить блютуз. геймпад не отключается. приходить перезагружать геймпад. хотя цвет мой основной настроен был оранжевым. кстати говоря геймпад работает вне стима по блютузу. на сайте работает. но в игре нет странно. должен по идее только щас пробовал. по проводу в стиме все в порядке работает. удивительно. что они сделали . что не могут это решить 3 дня. или уже 4 ый день начался как эта проблема досихпор. сейчас проверил. стим был выключен. я попробовал по блютузу заранее включить пад. в итоге тот же самый голубой цвет. потом офнул. стим. удалил пад из устройств. перезагрузил сам пад. запустил стим. сопрягаю пад. он как бы сопрягается. но бессконечно мерцает белым именно двойным. типо он в поиске. что то новенькое. видимо пытаются что то делать. надеюсь на выходных решат эту проблему. а то много дней не могу поиграть в игры в стиме. а сам я в пиратки не играю нет желания эх. и кстати проги не использую не вижу смысла. если типо стим есть. только этот стим сам прога так что какая разница))))

Все то же самое. Я как делаю: стартую DS4Windows, пока стим полностью закрыт. Коннектится геймпад, жму в настройках HIDE Device и затем уже запускаю стим. Хоть так все работает)

If you already own a PS4, it’s well worth knowing how to use a PS4 controller on Steam too.

Back in 2018, Valve officially introduced support for the PS4’s DualShock 4 pad to Steam — and it’s actually impressively customizable.

Not only will it just plug and play with gamepad supported games (with a little bit of work), but you can make it so that the touchpad controls your mouse — quite a trip in Windows — or that camera movements are done by tilts of the gamepad.

However, learning how to use a PS4 controller on Steam isn’t quite as simple as plugging in an Xbox One pad and jumping into your game of choice — especially if you want to use it wirelessly.

But we’re here to help, so here’s our guide for how to use a PS4 controller on Steam.

1. Connect your DualShock 4 controller

If you’re happy using it wired, just connect a microUSB lead from the pad to your PC and then proceed to Step 10.

2. Check your PC has Bluetooth

If you want to use your DualShock 4 controller wirelessly with Steam, there are a few additional steps. First of all, make sure your PC has Bluetooth. If it doesn’t, Sony sells an official DualShock 4 USB adapter, though it’s pretty hard to find nowadays. Fortunately, any old dongle that supports Bluetooth 2.0 and above should suffice.

3. Press the Start button, then Settings

In Windows, press the Start button, and then press Settings.

4. Press Devices

From the next set of options, select Devices.

5. Switch on Bluetooth, then Add Bluetooth device

Ensure Bluetooth is switched on, and then press Add Bluetooth or other device.

6. Select Bluetooth

Simply choose the top option on this menu.

7. Pair PS4 controller

Now take your PS4 DualShock 4 controller and hold down the PS button (the one between the two analogue sticks) and the Share button (the one above and to the right of the D pad). When the light bar on the controller starts flashing, it’s ready to be discovered by your computer.

8. Select Wireless Controller

Back on Windows, the PS4 pad will now show up in the list of devices ready to be paired. It’ll be called the very generic “Wireless Controller”, so when that shows up, click it.

9. Look for ‘Device ready’ message

If all goes well, you’ll see this. Success!

10. Go to Steam settings

Log into Steam. Press the Steam menu in the top-left hand corner, and then press Settings.

11. Select Controller in Steam

In the submenu that appears press Controller, and then General Controller Settings.

12. Tick PlayStation Configuration Support

Tick the box that says “PlayStation Configuration Support” to set it up for the final stage of the process.

13. Customize your PS4 controller for Steam

Your PS4 pad is now ready to use in Steam, but to really supercharge it, return to the previous menu and play around with both Big Picture Configuration and Desktop Configuration. This will let you customize your controller in some really interesting ways both in game and generally when using Steam.

In addition to remapping every button and adjusting the sensitivity of the thumbsticks, you can also take advantage of the controller’s unique touchpad and gyroscope in a myriad of ways.
