I can’t seem to find the connect now button , whe n I go in advanced settings there is no menu below debug setting , can anyone help

I think you have to latest version — 4.5.5 maybe. You have to download version 4.2.2 I had the same problem. After this go to your app settings and disable the auto. update for «Bluetooth Auto connect».

All you gotta do with the new version is select devices and check only the wireless controller box. Leave any others unchecked

The fix is continuous connect. Use Bluetooth connect. Advanced options. Continuous connect.(sec). Set to 10 seconds or anything under 30 seconds. Then hit connect now. The problem is that it will start lagging after 30 seconds. After setting continuous connect this problem is solved. Happy gaming!

If you have root access, to fix key mappings, go to: system > usr > keylayout and in Generic.kl modify the next lines to:

Had this issue on all my phones from my S3 to s7e and s8+

It really gets my blood boiling that this **** is still and issue and at this point I might just get a Sony phone or Huawei when next I change phones cause this is ridiculous

You have to download 4.2.2 version.
Then, go to «advanced options». Now enter «10» in «Continuous Connect sec».
And now clic on «Connect Now»
It works for Samsung galaxy tab s2!

Just install the latest version from the Google Play Store and open it. Click «Profiles» and select «Media Audio (A2DP)».

Click «Devices» and select your DualShock 4, likely labeled «Wireless Controller». Once again, select «Media Audio (A2DP)».

Return to the main menu and scroll down to «Advanced Options». Click «Continuous Connect (Sec)» and set it to «2».

Close the app completely, turn off BlueTooth on your device and make sure your DualShock 4 is turned off. Re-open the app, turn on BlueTooth and lastly, turn on your DualShock 4 (press and hold the PS button for a second).

Voilà! The controller should be working with near-zero lag. Hope this works for you!

This problem isn’t an issue with the new V2 version Dualshock 4.

Tried all my 3 controllers yesterday (1 v1, 2 v2), all had this issue.
Tried it on PPSSPP, great at first, lagged every now and then (using bluetooth auto connect)

I’ll reply ^^. Everyone posting is relating to Bluetooth Auto Connect version 4.2.2 or LOWER. For some stupid reason, version 4.5 is shot and delay is extensive with PS4 gamepad.

To fix, download 4.2.2 (Search Google) and download it. You might be inquired to remove 4.5 due to installation failure initially.

Once I downloaded the previous version, then ensured B.A.C auto connects every 5s my entire experience has been stellar.

What a legend! Worked an absolute treat and can now run Battlefield 1, Far Cry 5 and more on my Galaxy S6 Edge using Shadow.tech really glad I found this fix!

None of these solutions work for me on Android 9, cable exempted. Bluetooth auto connect has also updated to a new version (4.6) with no changes. I also have the 30s of normal use before unusable lag. OnePlus6 for the curious.

What on earth causes this? :/

This work for a whole 3 minutes and then the whole of psxe froze for a bit. Would work again and then freeze. Thinking I am just going to try a micro USB to USB-c for my S8. Going on a road trip and want to play chrono cross while I am in the car for 5 days. Thanks anyways.

Как подключить Dualshock 4 к Windows 11? Как избавиться от Инпут-лага в InputMapper?

После перехода с Windows 10 до 11 версии, я по привычке решил подключить свой Dualshock 4 к компьютеру через Bluetooth, нажав комбинацию кнопок Share + Playstation я успешно подключил его к пк. Следующим шагом я всегда запускал программу DS4Windows для установки связи между контроллером и играми, но по какой-то причине программа не могла обнаружить мой геймпад (как я понял дальше, он и не хотел его обнаруживать).

Найти решение этой проблемы я решил на русском и зарубежном ютубе, но смотря сквозь слёзы на счастливые комментарии людей, которым помогли эти видеоролики (я конечно же был исключением), я попытался решить эту проблему своими силами.

Просидев часами за переустановкой программы и драйверов, одновременно листая гайды, я понял что такое безумие, повторяя одно и то же действие раз за разом я случайно наткнулся на одну статью где написано, что Microsoft (которые также являются боссами в Xbox) решили что владельцам контроллером от Sony следует пересесть на контроллеры от Xbox, так как поддерживать устройства конкурента на своей операционной системе у них нет желания.

Собрав остатки своих нервных клеток я обратил внимание на другую программу реализации связи между контроллером и играми. Этой программой была InputMapper. Всегда ей пользовался ей, когда капризничал DS4Windows и был доволен. Запустил я эту программу и Аллилуйя, он обнаружил мой контроллер, правда функционировало у него только тачпад, как мышка.

Я был в небывалой ярости и потратив ещё получаса, капаясь в настройках программы и обнаружил, что в параметрах профилей контроллера можно менять его раскладку (Dualshock 4 и Xbox 360), как на зло у меня стоял None. Сменив профиль подключённого геймпада на Xbox 360, джойстик начал функционировать полностью, удостоверившись в Steam BigPicture.

Но недолго фраер танцевал, зайдя в Battlefield 2042 с подключённым геймпадом, я обнаружил внушительный Инпут-лаг у моего контроллера. Персонаж реагировал на движение стика через пол секунды. Комфортно играть было невозможно. Хотя на следующий день, по каким-то непонятным причинам зайдя снова в BF задержка стала меньше раза в два, но всё ровно доставляла большой дискомфорт.

Сейчас ломаю голову над этой проблемой. Прошу помочь найти мне решение этой проблемы или найти иной путь подключения контроллера к пк и без применения InputMapper. Благодарю заранее!

Dualshock 4 bluetooth задержка

I’ve been trying to make my ds4 controllers to work wirelessly via bluetooth to play some bo3 on the couch but i keep getting weird «latency spikes» where for a few seconds all input is lost and the last input stays stuck. i’m using the onboard bluetooth adapter on my motherboard so could this be an issue? i’ve never had similar issues with my ps4 so thats the only thing i can come up with as being the issue?

Could be the bluetooth on your board. Guessing you have a laptop? basic bluetooth adaptors on some boards are not great for input lag or spikes. Could try wired to see if that fixes the issue, least youll know if its the boards bluetooth.

I use a asus BT dongle I got a few years ago for £10 and never had an issue. If it is definitely your board get a new adapter. Not sure if 2 bluetooth adapters will conflict but you can always disable your onboard if need be.

Actually I have a desktop. the problem appears to only happen when theres more than one controller connected even if other one is connected via usb. playing with a single controller seems to work completetly fine over bluetooth.

Then try connecting that other Controller to a differe USB port.
They are often on the same Hub in groups of 2 — 4 Ports.
You can easily look inside Device Manager and see which devices are on the same shared Hub.

While a standard BT adapter can/should work, Sony does make their own which should be more reliable then a cheap generic bt adapter, but they are kind of pricey.

Check for and update the system chipset and bluetooth drivers too, that might help. Bluetooth generally should NOT be affected by LOS (Line Of Sight) issues between the adapter and controller, but you can also try moving any other RF devices around/away to see if it’s an issue. Blutetooth uses the same 2.4ghz band that many wifi and cordless phones do, so having too many other wireless devices operating may cause interference. Two things you can do about that is move as many wifi devices to a 5Ghz AP if you have devices an an AP that can do that, or try changing your wifi router’s channel (you can find apps online to see what channels your neighbors are using to try to avoid crossing over those too)
