When I first turned the app on to scan for my Sony headphones, it said that they were nearby, but then couldn’t find them. When I got home, my Sony headphones were actually at home. So I decided fed to try again by turning the app on the next morning to scan for these headphones just to be sure that the app worked. I turned my Sony headphones on, put them in Bluetooth mode, connected then to my laptop, and the app said it couldn’t find them . So I turned the app all the way off and restarted it. Guess what? The app found my headphones. Would you have given more than a 3?

Doesn’t work

Thank god they give you a free trial because I have been looking for my airpods and the connection it finds gives me a bunch of numbers and letters and doesn’t say what it actually is that is getting that Bluetooth connection because I looked up on the map to see where they are and said it was in my neighbors house that I’ve never been too and then when I reloaded it, it put the marker in a completely different spot and also will tell me it’s 115 feet away when it says right next to me so in that case that just shows alone there’s a lot wrong with this app and that it does not work correctly at all and if those number and letters are the serial number or the version it’s giving me someone else’s Bluetooth cause I do not have any of those codes and looked through all my connections I big update where things are a lot more clearer are needed for this to be successful and actual place of where the thing is.

Not working

The reason I put five stars was for the creator to see. So I’m having a really hard time looking for my apple pen right? So I test it with my tv and the bar to show how far you are doesn’t even move, it’s ridiculous? And it won’t even connect to my other devices.

Find My Lost Bluetooth Device 4+

I have the old free version on my iPhone and it works better than the newer version. There are features that are free on the old version that are no longer free! For example, the send feature. I try to send and on the new version on my iPad, I get a message to buy the premium version. This is a rip off in my opinion.

NOTE: Make sure in Settings under Bluetooth/Privacy that you allow this app permissions to use your Bluetooth.

It seemed to work on my iPhone when I first got it. I just downloaded it to my iPad and it keeps prompting me to buy premium.

Whenever I click on one of the Bluetooth devices it finds, it takes me to a page that prompts me to buy premium.

One Bluetooth device was called “iPhone“ which matches my name for it, but the others were not named and only were listed as N/A. Give it a few minutes and the N/A (I believe this means the name is not immediately available or clear to the app) changes to the name of the device. It may also change to a long number.

It will not tell you that you have found your device, only that you are near it. It will give distances such as you are within one meter or two meters. But sometimes you won’t have the name of the Bluetooth device it has found.

The app no longer works at all

Haven’t had to use it have been a couple of months try to open the app and it does not work at all it won’t even open it blinks and nothing happens not sure exactly what you guys did to it but please undo it that used to work great and I paid for it if you cannot fix it can you please give me my money back thanks

Not good for crowded areas and also overpriced

I recently lost a device and the manufacturer suggested two apps to locate it. This was the second option and I gave it a try. The app seems to display EVERY Bluetooth item that my phone has detected, with results numbering probably in the hundreds. Maybe 1 out of 25 items have a name, and that’s something generic. The app isn’t showing my own Apple Watch or my AirPods. Or, if it is, they’re lost in the list of unnamed items, even though they’ve been given a name.

Tapping on any of the listed items takes you to a paywall, $7.99/mo or a yearly option.

Considering that almost none of the items have names, it would be an epic scavenger hunt in a busy public location like a shopping center or an airport to try and track down these unnamed items one at a time. And adding to the no name issue, as different people come in to the area (Bluetooth is only good for about 30’ of range), you won’t know which items you’ve hunted down and which are new to the list.

While this app may be useful for an item misplaced in your home or small office, there are other apps that serve this same purpose that are probably much better suited to actually helping recover a lost item.

Find My Bluetooth BLE Device 4+

Using this with my laptop it helped me locate my phone that i had put in a very strange place in my own kitchen! I was going crazy. I knew i had not truly lost it! It got me to look very hard nearby. It worked better than the find my Iphone which doesn’t seem right! that located two other devices and not my phone but this worked.

I found it!

I was certain my iphone was gone. My Apple watch wasn’t connecting to the iphone so . Then I suddenly remembered the «Find My» app. I had one false start but I picked up my Macbook and started wandering around the house. The numbers on the screen started going down. So, I kept walking until I couldn’t go any further. At that point, my phone was staring right at me. Nice job!

This is a nasty piece of work. In attempting to find my iPhone, the biggest ad in the world comes up and asks me: which program would I like for X amount of dollars? Hello. I’m just trying to find my iPhone. I do not expect to lose it more than once or twice. a year. Why, why in the world would I need to pay for «MONTHLY» services? After yelling «Hey, Siri!», my next door neighbor’s dog started baying. Finally, I found my lost iPhone. laying i bed a taking a snooze between the sheets and blanket. No big deal. No need for a monthly service. Hello Houston. you sure do have a problem!

Find My Bluetooth Device 4+

First, I absolutely NEVER give a review right off the bat until I can test an apps worthiness in action and/or functionality. In this case 2 days after I downloaded it, it saved my Apple Watch from being lost forever and me from having to buy a new one. It got torn off my wrist and into a moving box that could have disappeared into a storage unit for months had I not been able to locate it, since it only uses WiFi to hook into my phone.
It took me right to within five feet of it and there it was . Thanks so much for an amazing app and I will positively promote his whenever it is asked of me for such information.

It works!

I use this not just for AirPods, but mainly for my Apple Watch — I don’t know why I keep putting it in the weirdest places in my room. If you have a general idea of where it is, (like, In your room), then it works better than any other app out there. I’d like to see them make a heat map for when I don’t know which room it’s in. This is because all it tells me is classification or “Weak”, rather than a continuous value, which could be easily represented as an infrared heat map.

It kinda works I guess…

I LOVE to draw, but lost my Apple Pencil MONTHS ago and have been extremely sad because it just disappeared one day, I download this app in faithfulness that it would show it but it didn’t, overall, the app is kinda cool, but I don’t understand why it has to cost SOO much money! I couldn’t even see my Apple Pencil pop up, I am a bit sad because I cant find it but this wasted my time, it works if you have devices in the room your sitting in, but almost NOTHING Else, I am disappointed that it didn’t show my pencil, but anyways, I recommend it for people that have devices that isn’t lost, but they can’t find it and it’s in the room they are sitting in.
