How to Uninstall CrossOver Chrome OS
Due to differences with the Chrome OS Linux environment the regular Uninstall Crossover application will only delete your bottles but not remove CrossOver.
Instead you will have to open the Linux terminal and run the command sudo dpkg —purge crossover to completely remove CrossOver and all of your bottles.
If you want to remove CrossOver but keep your bottles instead run sudo dpkg -r crossover

Удаление CrossOver из операционной системы Ubuntu
CrossOver находится в двух местах в Linux.
Бинарные файлы CrossOver хранит в /opt/cxoffice/
Файлы «бутылки» установленных программ и конфигурации находятся в /home/имя_пользователя/.cxoffice/
Для удаления программы откройте диспетчер пакетов Synaptic выполните поиск CrossOver.
Щелкните правой кнопкой мыши на элемент CrossOver и выберите Отметить для удаления, затем щелкните Применить изменения.
Удалить программу из CrossOver в Ubuntu
Мы приведем живой пример на астрологической программе Zet. После установки программа находится в домашней директории: /home/имя_пользователя/.cxoffice/
В этой программе находится база данных клиентов и нам необходимо сохранить ее. Путь: /home/имя_пользователя/.cxoffice/zet/drive_c/Program Files/ZET512/
Копируем и сохраняем папку DBase. Теперь мы можем зачистить папку .cxoffice/ или удалить ее полностью.

Tutorial: Uninstall CrossOver From Linux System Ubuntu

CrossOver is an application that can be use to install windows application on Linux. CrossOver made based of Wine, but CrossOver better than native Wine application if look from graphical interface. CrossOver is commercial application or not freeware, but we can download free trial CrossOver.
In previous article, I has been posted article about install CrossOver in Ubuntu. If you want to remove or uninstall this application, you can try this tutorial.
- Open Terminal, then type: sudo su
- Entered into the directory /opt/cxoffice/bin by typing this command:
Removing Crossover Linux
CrossOver is stored in two locations on Linux. The CrossOver binaries are in /opt/cxoffice or ~/cxoffice (depending on install method used) while the bottles and config files are in ~/.cxoffice .
Using a Package Manager
- Right-click on the CrossOver entry (or go to the Package menu) and choose Mark for Removal. (Mark for Removal deletes the CrossOver binaries, and Mark for Complete Removal deletes the binaries and the bottles.)
Manual Removal
To remove CrossOver manually, from a terminal, run the following:
sudo rm -rf /opt/cxoffice rm -rf ~/.cxofficeIf CrossOver is installed in ~/cxoffice instead of /opt/cxoffice run:
sudo rm -rf ~/cxoffice rm -rf ~/.cxofficeRemoving a .rpm Installation
To remove CrossOver, config files, and installed bottles on Fedora 23 and later, run the following:
Removing a .bin Installation
We recommend using the CrossOver Uninstaller to remove a .bin installation.
Locate the uninstaller by searching for Uninstall CrossOver in your Dash.
Double-click the Uninstall CrossOver icon. Then choose whether to keep your bottles during the uninstall.

Using Finder to Uninstall CrossOver
On Mac OS 10.7 and later, the Library folder is hidden. To access the Library folder, do the following:
- Open Finder
- Select Go from the Finder menu
- Press and hold the Option key on your keyboard
- Select Library from the Go menu
1. Trash the CrossOver folder
Drag the CrossOver folder from Users>(your home folder)>Library>Application Support to the trash.
2. Trash Crossover Preference Files
Drag all files that begin with com.codeweavers. from Users>(your home folder)>Library>Preferences to the Trash.
3. Trash CrossOver Folder
Drag the CrossOver folder from Users > (your home folder) > Applications to the Trash.
4. Trash CrossOver Icon
Drag the CrossOver icon from Applications to the Trash.
