My IT department found a Probook 640 G1 laying around so I got a newer laptop. The 640 G1 did not have bluetooth at all. The tech put in an HP branded Intel 7260 wireless card that has wifi and bluetooth capabilities. The wifi was recognized with no problems. The bluetooth on the other hand was not. There were no unknown devices with yellow triangles either. The tech tried for hours and I tried as well with no sucess. I found a hack online to tape over pin 51 but that didn’t work either. There is no option to enable bluetooth in the BIOS whatsoever. And I updated to the latest BIOS.

Does anyone have any experience adding bluetooth to a Probook 640 G1? What magic did you do to get it to work? Or do you have any other suggestions ?

Подключение к проводной сети

Существует 2 типа проводных подключений: локальная сеть и модемное подключение.
Подключение по локальной сети использует сетевой кабель и работает гораздо быстрее
модемного подключения, использующего телефонный кабель. Оба кабеля приобретаются
отдельно.

Чтобы снизить риск поражения электрическим током, пожара или повреждения

оборудования, не вставляйте модемный или телефонный кабель в сетевой разъем RJ-45.

Подключение к локальной вычислительной сети (ЛВС)

Подключение к локальной сети используется для подключения компьютера к домашнему
маршрутизатору напрямую (в отличие от беспроводного подключения) или для подключения к
существующей сети в офисе.

Для подключения к локальной сети необходим 8-контактный сетевой кабель RJ-45.

Для подключения сетевого кабеля выполните указанные ниже действия.

Подключите кабель локальной сети к сетевому разъему (1) на компьютере.
