Bluetooth disappeared from my laptop Hp spectre x360 G2 in Windows 10 Pro x64

I can no longer connect by Bluetooth with my Hp spectre x360 G2 ultrabook in Windows 10 Pro x64 , it has disappeared from notification bar and setting.

and it is hidden in device manager

I verified the last version of Intel(R) Wireless Bluetouth Driver, and it’s updated

In «SERVICES» there is only Bluetooth Support Service & Hands-Free Service, I restarted them and insured that they are both automatic

Also, be informed that BIOS is updated

I hope you can help me to solve the issue, i really need to find a solution.

You could try downloading the latest drivers from ‘the source’ and perhaps first uninstalling the old driver (from Device Manager) and then installing the new one.

People are using their precious remaining lifetime to try and help, so it is common courtesy to come back and tell what the solution eventually was even if you found it elsewhere. It is for the benefit of everyone.

As soon as I updated intel drivers bluetooth start working normally.

I’m on Windows 10 Home 1803, bluetooth had disappeared from everywhere (including Device Manager — zoiks!), but installing the Intel driver you recommended fixed everything.

Finally problem solved after upgrading Wireless driver from Intel 20.20.2.2 to 20.60.0.0

It would be nice if there were some information in the change log though

Just on a side note- it is annoying that we are getting links to downloads, which will expire in a few years and then there will be no information what the binary file was, hence I have said the download link is for intel wireless 20.60.0

All of a sudden, I can’t find / activate the bluetooth switch on my laptop. I’ve tried to install the driver but still nothing. When I go into the Bluetooth Settings, I see all the devices that I have, but I can’t connect them because the blue switch isn’t there anymore.

Someone can help me with that?

HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook

Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.

Also ensure Windows is up to date.

Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates . If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available

My Spectre is connected to the internet via WLAN. The Operating System (Win 10) was updated a few days ago.

The Bluetooth System does not detect any Bluetooth devices any more. It keeps searching without any detected devices. There are no error messages. In the devices list in the system the bluetooth speakers are not displayed.

My Bluetooth speakers functioned with this Spectre a few days ago. These Speakers work with my Smartphone and Bluetooth connection without any problems.

My Samsung smartphone is near the Spectre with bluetooth enabled. It was coupled with the spectre a few weeks ago and functioned, but suddenly this does not function any more either. The smartpjone connects to other bluetooth devices (and the bluetooth speakers) without any problems.

I tried to connect to the speakers with the Spectre after disabling the speakers in the smartphone bluetooth connection- no success.

I have tried deinstalling and reinsatlling the bluetooth drivers in the Spectre- but the result is the same. The system says that the bluetooth is functioning and that the drivers are up to date.

Your help would be much appreciated.
