Bose SoundSport In-Ear Headphones Review

The Bose SoundSport are decent sounding in-ear earbuds. They have a comfortable and open fit that some may prefer over typical in-ear models. The tips’ design, lets you hear traffic while jogging but also, doesn’t block any ambient noise. They won’t be ideal for loud and noisy commutes.

Our Verdict

The primary usage for these headphones is for sports. The lack of isolation means they won’t be versatile enough for loud environments and commuting. On the upside, they deliver a decent enough sound for most listeners, and they’re stable, portable and breathable enough, to comfortably run and workout with.

Average for neutral listening. They have a surprisingly open sound for in-ear headphones. However, they lack a bit bass for a balanced neutral listening experience.

Below-average for noisy commutes. They’re comfortable and compact but they barely block any ambient noise. They struggle in loud environments.

The SoundSport In-Ear are good headphones for sports use. They have a stable and open in-ear fit that allows runners to monitor their surroundings. Also, They’re small enough to carry around on your person wherever you go.

Mediocre for office use. They don’t leak much but won’t block the chatter of a busy office.

The Bose SoundSport In-Ear have a bright and sporty red and black color scheme that stands out and looks good. The earbuds are a little bigger than the similarly designed SoundTrue In-Ear and are available in a variety of colors to suit your tastes. They have a unique ear bud tip design that’s smaller and more open than the StayHear tips of the Soundtrue IE and QuietComfort 20.

The Bose SoundSport are incredibly comfortable. They are extremely lightweight, and the fit does not apply any pressure to the ear canal. They feel like you don’t have headphones on once they’re in your ears. However, this can get slightly frustrating as you’re frequently tempted to adjust the fit, assuming the earbuds are not correctly placed in your ears. You get used to it eventually, but the open and airy effect is a little unsettling at first.

The SoundSport have an above-average control scheme. They provide call/music, track-skipping, and volume controls. Sadly, like the SoundTrue In-Ear the buttons are a little cramped on the small inline control module and also don’t deliver good tactile feedback.

The SoundSport In-Ear are one of the most portable headphones we have reviewed so far. They will easily fit into your pockets or purse. Although there’s no specific way to fold them into a smaller footprint, the cable is not too long or thick to take up much space.

These headphones come with a small circular soft pouch that will protect your headphones from damage. The case fabric is tough, and it will easily fit into a pocket or purse. However, a soft case may not be able to protect these headphones from water damage as a hard case would.

Decent build quality. These headphones are lightweight and the earbuds are made of a relatively dense plastic that won’t break from a couple of falls. The audio cable is decent and moderately durable. Unfortunately, like the SoundTrue In-Ear, the audio cable could be a little thicker, to prevent it from getting damaged by everyday wear and tear.

The SoundSport are above-average stable headphones. They offer special stability tips that prevent the headphones from falling out of your ears while jogging. Their hybrid in-ear tip design is very open and airy, allowing runners to monitor their environment. However, the lack of a seal in the ear canal makes them fall out of your ears easier than the StayHear+ tips of the SoundTrue In-Ear or the QuietComfort 25. They’re ideal for jogging outside but may not be stable enough for high-intensity exercises at the gym.

Отличные наушники за свои деньги, понравился звук и очень комфортные насадки, не слетают при движении, 5 с плюсом. Наушники только для тихого окружения (парк, квартира и т.п.). Служили более года, пока не сломался провод, что, на мой взгляд, является хорошим результатом по надежности. Резюме: отличные наушники, но не для города или не должны быть единственными.

Очень быстро рвется, перебивается провод в месте соединения с штекером. За такие деньги качество провода/штекера должно быть лучше. Поэтому ставлю 4.

Отличные наушники, классный звук, не надоедают, нет усталости. Удобные насадки. Но могут слететь и потеряться.
Покупал эту модель 2 раза. Каждая через год-полтора ломалась — из-за того, что рвался провод или терялся контакт в месте соединения провода со штекером. Как я понял — это из-за конструкции штекера — из — за того что он направлен в бок и немного вверх, провод постоянно искривляется, тянется вверх и из-за этого со временем рвется.
В первых — отказал один наушник через 1,5 года. Когда начинал трогать провод рядом со штекером — звук то пропадал, то появлялся. Потом совсем исчез. Во вторых перестали играть сразу 2 наушника, где-то через год. Все по той же проблеме.

Удобно располагаются в ухе, есть разные сменные затычки, слышен окружающий мир (на сколько я помню, эта характеристика является достоинством и преимуществом данной модели, идя по городу не рискуешь быть сбитым машиной, но трудно в метро). Хорошие басы и средние частоты.

Стандартная болезнь многих наушников — перебивается провод у штекера, чинил 4 раза, пользуюсь 7 лет. Со временем (а прошло 7 лет) силиконовые вкладыши размягчаются, желтеют все (даже места, которые с ухом не соприкасаются). Нет высоких частот, прям обидно в начале было, эквалайзер у iPod немного смягчил ситуацию, но обидно всё равно. К седьмому году начал разваливаться пластик, размягчается, легко повредить. Но до сих пор еще работают.

Без условно это Чистый звук. Если вы слушаете разную музыку от классики до рэпа, и не любите чтобы ваш мозг съедал басс то эти наушники как раз для вас.

Из недостатков хочу сказать что под мое строение уха не совсем удобно, и немного не хватает бассов. Но для транса идеально

1. Отличный звук, чистый, не перегруженный басами. Можно слушать любую музыку: от классики до d’n’b.
2. Удобный красивый кожаный чехол. Можно аккуратно все смотать, убрать в чехол вместе с плеером и достать не распутывая морской узел
3. Надежные. За 1,5 года работы ни одного нарекания
4. Толстый прочный провод, который не дубеет со временем. Были до этих наушники, у них провод стал жестким и со временем просто переломился. У этих даже намека не было
5. Наушники неплотно вставляются в ухо. Сначала это раздражает, они могут вывыливаться. НО со временем начинаешь ценить это. Это сделано для того, что бы человек не оглох и не потерял связи с внешним миром.
6. Очень клево выглядят. И провод и сами уши. Со временм внешний вид не меняется
7. Силиконовые вкладыши крепятся к корпусу хорошо. К комплекте 3 штуки на разные размеры. НО все равно имеют свойство слетать. Тогда придется покупать новые

1. Спустя 2 года активного использования у места входа провода в наушник развалилась изоляция. Сначала это выглядит, как пузыри, потом эти пузыри лопаются. Звук от этого не портится, но наушники уже могут отвалиться от проводов
2. За счет высокого сопротивления звук может быть тише, чем на дешевых наушниках. НО зато качество на порядки выше

Я не жалею ни копейки за эти наушники. Поначалу расстроился, но потом оценил по достоинству. К моему огромному сожалению я их потерял(((А так смог бы пользоваться еще очень долго.
Если кому то нравится, что бы басы выдавливали мозг, тогда можно поискать другие наушники. В этих все отлично сбалансировано.
По поводу сравнения с эппловскими наушниками. Эппловские хоть и звучат ничего, но и качество у них не ахти, и вид становится со временем ужасный, и звук хуже. То, что не дают послушать в магазине — все правильно. Иначе нарушили бы нормы гигиены. Мало ли у кого что в ушах творится. У эппловских девавайсов просто ужасный эквалайзер, который только все портит. Возможно поэтому наушники могли не понравится
