По сравнению с конкурентами, у беспроводных наушников JBL есть «фирменные» особенности. Производитель не использует кодеки высокого разрешения (aptX HD, aptX Adaptive, LDAC), если не считать AAC и то далеко не во всех моделях. Кроме того, до недавнего времени в JBL игнорировали некоторые фишки последних версий Bluetooth. В том числе умение работать с двумя источниками сигнала одновременно (Multipoint).
