4G – это связь четвертого поколения по технологии LTE (Long-TermEvolution) и это основное направление эволюции сетей сотовой связи третьего поколения 3G. Международное объединение ThirdGenerationPartnershipProject (3GPP), разрабатывающее перспективные стандарты мобильной связи, утвердило LTE в качестве следующего после UMTS стандарта широкополосной сети мобильной связи. Сети третьего поколения (3G) обеспечивают скорость передачи данных до 3,6 Мбит/с. LTE в зависимости от полосы пропускания обеспечивает теоретическую пиковую скорость передачи данных до 326,4 Мбит/с от базовой станции к пользователю и до 172,8 Мбит/с в обратном направлении. Для сравнения, сети второго поколения /2G/ теоретически способны обеспечить пиковую скорость передачи данных с помощью технологии GPRS 56-114 Кбит/с, а помощью EDGE до 473,6 Кбит/с.

В числе дополнительных услуг, такие как: мобильный Интернет и разнообразные Интернет-пакеты, виртуальная частная сеть (VPN), международные альтернативные звонки, короткие номера, услуга «GUDOK», международный роуминг (сети GSM), переадресация вызова, трехсторонний вызов (или конференцсвязь), голосовая почта , служба коротких сообщений и другие.

На 2016-2017 годы намечено расширение сети GSM UZMOBILE по всему Узбекистану с внедрением технологий 2G/3G и 4G. Параллельно будет продолжено развитие сети CDMA-450 EV-DO от UZMOBILE.

«Узбектелеком» предоставляет такие услуги, как: аренды каналов операторам и провайдерам фиксированной и мобильной связи, международной и междугородней связи, все виды услуг голосовой связи и передачи данных, доступа к сети Интернет, видеоконференцсвязи, мобильной в стандартах CDMA-450 и GSM, стационарной связи в стандарте CDMA-450, организует каналы для передачи программ телевизионного и радиовещания. Услуги компании на рынке оказываются под четырьмя торговыми марками – UZTELEСOM™, UZMOBILE™, UZONLINE™ и TELEСOM TV™.
