Design:

LaMetric Smart Time Clock comes in a stylish black balloon plastic frame. The front panel acts as a screen with a block of LEDs with a layer of diffusion, which helps provide the device with good viewing angles – easy to see the screen even at very wide angles. It weighs only 0.223 kg and is very light and allows you to place or hang it anywhere.

At the top of the interface: the left and right buttons to navigate between applications, and the middle button to take related actions, the Back and Next buttons let users navigate between different applications, while the Action button lets you interact with those apps.
ere is an ambient light sensor, which helps LaMetric time to know when its LEDs light up.

The back of the LaMetric Time has a micro USB power cable port and a headphone outlet.
There is also a pair of stereo speakers on each end of the device. It may not be of super quality but it meets the needs of the device.
Below the left and right speakers, there are buttons to adjust the speaker volume and turn the device on and off.

Applications LaMetric Time:

LaMetric Smart Time Clock has its own app available in the Apple Store and Play Market. It has 5 pre-installed apps: Alarm Clock, Weather, Internet Radio, Timer, and Stopwatch. LaMetric Appstore reinvents the watch with apps from different developers to your taste.

You can also configure how apps are displayed – you can automatically scroll the view from app to app, use the previous and next buttons to scroll between apps, or keep one app restricted at all times.

The app guides you through the entire configuration process step by step. And you can customize basic options like screen brightness, screen saver, text size and animation, etc.

Обзор Lametric — умные настольные часы, или цифровой дисплей на стол руководителю?

Не думал, что доживу до времен, когда для смарт-часов придется дополнительно уточнять “место назначения”. Однако к 2018 году мы имеем уже не только наручные аксессуары: есть настенные умные часы и есть LaMetric — первые настольные смарт-часы.

Так ли это “вау”?! Давайте разбираться!

Вообще, LaMetric — это интерактивный дисплей с широкими возможностями для кастомизации. Просто когда впервые устанавливаешь софт, то по умолчанию в списке предустановленных приложений часы да погода, и ты волей-неволей относишься к этому девайсу как к продвинутым часам.

Хотя выводить на дисплей можно куда больше интересной и полезной информации. Для этого необходимо настроить LaMetric через приложение.

Для простоты часть специальных LaMetric-приложений уже вынесены в основные, а за остальными необходимо отправиться в фирменный встроенный “Стор”. Список софтинок достаточно обширный: от хайповых курсов криптовалют до мотивирующих “сколько ты уже не куришь”.

После установки, процесс которой заключается в клике по кнопке ADD, все приложения попадают на экран установленных “аппов”, а уже их отображение и трансляция на дисплей настраивается в каждом случае отдельно.

Настроить можно и другими способами: LaMetric поддерживает RSS, работает с сервисом IFTTT, однако самый простой и доступный — описан выше: установить фирменный софт и синхронизировать нужные приложения, выведя данные на дисплей.

Например, можно следить, как растет количество подписчиков ваших (или чужих) страниц на Facebook * :

Как только данные обновляются (скажем, подписывается кто-то еще) дисплей выводит соответствующее меню со звуком или без (согласно вашим настройкам).

Или, например, в режиме реального времени наблюдать, сколько же людей подписано на тот или иной канал на YouTube (не обязательно — ваш):

Если вы майните или скупаете и продаете крипту, то, возможно, вас будут волновать курсы валют, которые также легко выставить в качестве заставки.

LaMetric — вполне себе вариант в качестве подарка на стол руководителю. Пусть он себе сидит да краем глаза наблюдает, как там обстоят дела с посещаемостью сайта, согласно статистике GoogleAnalytics.

Для работы с сервисами Google необходимо авторизироваться! Ну и, конечно, Lametric можно настроить для работы с уведомлениями со смартфона: для этого дисплей нужно подключить по Bluetooth к смартфону и открыть необходимые разрешения: звонки, смс, приложения.

При Bluetooth-синхронизации также есть возможность стримить на LaMetric любимую музыку из плеера. По бокам часов-колонки два динамика.

Также устройство можно использовать как радио. Для того, чтобы вам не приходилось постоянно открывать приложение LaMetric на смартфоне, управление можно осуществлять прямо с корпуса: сверху есть кнопки переключения дисплеев, а по бокам — громкость и питание.

В итоге мы получаем

Ну, во-первых, все-таки довольно необычный, возможно, забавный гаджет. Небольшая прямоугольная коробка с понятным и очень простым дизайном выступает сразу в нескольких ролях.

Среди них и цифровые часы, и электронное информтабло, и радиоприемник, и выносная Bluetooth-колонка! Это, как минимум, многофункционально.

Часть из этих возможностей действительно полезны: от прогноза погоды до курса крипты, от подписчиков на Facebook * до статистики посещаемости бизнеса. Данные отдаются в режиме реального времени, благодаря синхронизации по Wi-fi.

И, наконец, как домашний аксессуар “на тумбочку” — LaMetric тоже может оказаться нужным. Если вдуматься, то, что мы делаем первым делом, вставая, даже не вставая с кровати, а только-только открывая глаза — тянемся к смартфону?

Ежедневно на это тратится по утрам время драгоценное, потому что лишнего времени по утрам — нет. А тут: прощелкал уведомления, пробежался по каким-то избранным сводкам и все.

LaMetric — гибкий в настройках гаджет, который “подстраивается” под нужды и старается быть полезным для каждого владельца.
