Depending on which AMD GPU you have there may/may not be something better available to use than the stock drivers. This output will help people advise you of your options.

Welcome to the forum, miladkazemi890.

What is the problem you are having?

The drivers for your graphics are included in the kernel and load automatically. There are no other drivers available. However, the default render is currently using Intel. It may be possible to switch that to AMD if i you let us know what problem you are having.

How to install AMD Graphics drivers on Mint 20.

Minecraft is running slower on my laptop after I switched to Mint from Windows 10, and I think it could possibly be my graphics drivers. I do not know how to install my AMD graphics drivers on Mint.

AMD graphics drivers are included in the Linux kernel. Those drivers have installed. There may be proprietary AMD drivers which provide you with better performance with Minecraft, but I do not game and thus can not make recommendations. Not everyone gets better performance with the proprietary drivers.

Hello, did you resolve your GPU driver problem?
The thread is not marked as «solved».

I use two different AMD GPUs (RX590, RX460) with Linux Mint and the GPUs perform better than on Win7, including Minecraft.
But before sharing additional info, please note the following caveats.

A. I do not use Win10 because of all the cyberstalking spyware and clandestine draconian licensing terms, **so** I can’t compare performance between Mint and Win10, HOWEVER.
1. Win7 had better performance for older hardware than Win10,
2. On the newest hardware the increase in performance between Win7 and Win10 is less than 5%,
3. Therefore, you can reasonably compare GPU framerates between Mint and Win7, expecting that Win10 framerates will perform worse than Win7, or at best, only slightly better than Win7.

B. I do not recommend the linux AMD proprietary GPU drivers for the following reasons.
1. They are extremely sensitive to any Kernel changes, meaning if you change the kernel before or after installing the drivers, the proprietary graphics driver will likely stop working,
2. They are extremely sensitive to the version of libraries installed and active on your linux system, thus even using a version of Mint as opposed to straight Ubuntu (which the AMD proprietary drivers are designed for), may cause unresolved dependencies,
3. They are finicky about your xorg config and additional config files related to your desktop choice (Ubuntu = gnome3, but Mint= cinnamon or mate),
4. Therefore, any Mint Updates to your system should never include the Kernel, desktop or any libraries that the AMD proprietary drivers rely on.

GOOD NEWS THOUGH, the linux community has created some spectacularly performing AMD GPU drivers that are better than the stock linux kernel drivers and the AMD proprietary drivers (including the Win drivers). With one exception, in that there are no easily working linux OpenCL drivers outside of the AMD proprietary drivers.

To install the linux gaming drivers, you can follow the Lutris instructions found here.
https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/mas . Drivers.md
This will also allow the Mint Update to obtain GPU driver updates (called MESA) without hosing up your system, unlike the AMD GPU proprietary drivers.

I always install WINE first, then the linux gaming AMD drivers from the webpage above, then Lutris. You do not need to install WINE nor Lutris if you don’t play any Win7/10 apps/games on your linux system. Steam uses its own version of WINE called Proton, but you may still benefit by going through the process of installing WINE, because it requires you to configure your system favorably for Proton as well.

To test the performance increase (i.e. framerate and pretty-ness), you can use Unigine Valley and Superposition *before* and *after* changing to the updated MESA AMD GPU drivers listed on the Lutris website above.

A word of advice, stop updating the linux kernel in Mint Update until you get a stable system with the MESA drivers.

Additional tools to help tweak your AMD GPU since there is no similar tool like «nVidia Control Panel» for AMD GPUs.
adriconf
CoreCtrl
GtkStressTesting
Hardinfo

Finally, presuming you are using the JAVA version of Minecraft, you may need to experiment with the different versions of Java available for Mint, including version 8, version 11, icedtea, etc.
