Linux Mint cannot detect ethernet cable [SOLVED]

First of all, I have installed Linux Mint before, have some experience dual booting either with Windows 7/10 or just making Linux Mint my main OS.

I got a new desktop PC, so I decided to install Windows 10, and, as usual, I will also install Linux Mint on another ssd.
Just to mention the mainboard I have with my new pc, is a Tuf Gaming B550m-plus wi-fi, it has wifi as you can see, but I have my ethernet cable so, kind of a waste.

I recently downloaded Linux Mint ISO image from the website, I used Rufus to make my bootable USB, then I proceeded to reboot Windows, pressing F2, bios, select USB drive boot, done.
The first thing I noticed is, I don’t have internet connection, even though the ethernet cable is plugged in, so that is a bad sign from the start, I proceeded to make the installation anyway and then reboot it with L. Mint, and I got the same result, no internet connection, I tried to connect via Wifi, no luck, I am 100% sure I was typing my wifi password correctly, but it couldn’t connect.

Then, I decided to try disabling the wi-fi from the BIOS [Enable] -> [Disabled], saved my changes, reboot again into L. Mint but same result, with no option of wifi of course. It just can’t detect the ethernet cable, I have no clue whatsoever on what the problem is. I tried with L.Mint standard and compatibility mode.

Just for testing purposes, I downloaded an Ubuntu ISO image, I did the same thing (having enabled Wifi) and when I was using the usb, I could connect to the Wifi, although the speed was horrifying, super slow, but at least I had internet, no luck again detecting the ethernet cable.

I am looking foward for any recommendations, advice, tips, anything for making this work, I want Linux Mint as my 2nd OS.

Probably windows stiil has ownership even after a reboot.
Turn off the computer, wait about 10 secs then boot from the usb stick, it won’t matter if you have wifi enabled and ethernet both will work.
You can check to see if winwoes will connect using the ethernet, if it doesn’t then you may have a dead port or a faulty cable.

When I boot into Windows 10, automatically detects my ethernet cable, I have internet in there, no wifi.
For some reason either Linux Mint or Ubuntu or any linux distro can’t detect automatically the ethernet cable. is not the cable, it is working.

It’s not the cable, it’s your ethernet adapter. We don’t know what it is without you posting the output from inxi -FxD . Post the output between code markers — the button above the reply window. Makes it easier to read.

Additional thoughts — have you turned off fast start/boot in win. This means it never really shuts down and as well as locking access to any ntfs partitions like C: it may also be blocking access to some devices.

Linux mint нет ethernet

Система не видит cетевую ethernet-карту. Хотя раньше было все нормально. Пробовал запуститься с live-образа — ситуация аналогичная. В БИОСе ничего не трогал. Куда стоит копать?

Вообщем прописал в /etc/rc.local команду
sudo ifconfig enp3s0 hw ether 00:32:68:8f:21:4b && sudo ifconfig enp3s0 up
и всё стало работать как надо.

Linux mint нет ethernet

Скачал linuxmint-20-cinnamon-64bit. Запустил без установки и удивился что нет интернета. Установил. Как будто нет драйвера сетевого устройства. Я новичек в этом деле. Разве может в линуксе не быть драйверов на сеть?
Сетевая карта втроенная на материнке, вот что пишет Win7:

Хотел попробовать поставить линукс, даже не знаю что теперь делать. Подключил телефон, интернет появился, поскачивал обновления, все равно не заработало. Менеджер драйверов устройств не видит.

Прошу помочь по возможности.

Что-то с завидной периодичностью на форуме возникает вопрос с этой сетевой картой. Но у меня никогда не было проблем, начиная от LM18 и заканчивая LM20.1, причём без каких-либо дополнительных действий. Смущает отсутствие у автора некоторых данных. М.б., все-таки, стоило предоставить информацию как sudo lshw -c net ? Мои данные для сравнения под спойлером:
