flex: the fast lexical analyser

flex is a tool for generating scanners. A scanner, sometimes called a tokenizer, is a program which recognizes lexical patterns in text. The flex program reads user-specified input files, or its standard input if no file names are given, for a description of a scanner to generate. The description is in the form of pairs of regular expressions and C code, called rules. Flex generates a C source file named, «lex.yy.c», which defines the function yylex(). The file «lex.yy.c» can be compiled and linked to produce an executable. When the executable is run, it analyzes its input for occurrences of text matching the regular expressions for each rule. Whenever it finds a match, it executes the corresponding C code.

SCons

SCons is a software construction tool that is a superior alternative to the classic «Make» build tool that we all know and love. SCons is implemented as a Python script and set of modules, and SCons «configuration files» are actually executed as Python scripts. This gives SCons many powerful capabilities not found in other software build tools. We make SCons available in three distinct packages, for different purposes. — The scons package is the basic package to install SCons. You don’t need any other package if you just want to try out SCons. — The scons-local package executes as a SCons standalone, out of a local directory. It’s intended to be dropped in to and shipped with packages of other software for builds with SCons but not as a required install. — The scons-src package is the complete source tree, including everything we use to package SCons and all of the regression tests.

PHPMailer – A full-featured email creation and transfer class for PHP. Support for UTF-8 content and 8bit, base64, binary, and quoted-printable encodings. SMTP authentication with LOGIN, PLAIN, CRAM-MD5, and XOAUTH2 mechanisms over SMTPS and SMTP+STARTTLS transports. Validates email addresses automatically. Many PHP developers need to send email from their code. The only PHP function that supports this directly is mail(). However, it does not provide any assistance for making use of popular features such as encryption, authentication, HTML messages, and attachments. Formatting email correctly is surprisingly difficult. There are myriad overlapping (and conflicting) standards, requiring tight adherence to horribly complicated formatting and encoding rules – the vast majority of code that you’ll find online that uses the mail() function directly is just plain wrong, if not unsafe!

And then serve them via PHP built-in webserver. PhpSpreadsheet relies on Composer autoloader. So before working with PhpSpreadsheet in standalone, be sure to run composer install.

GFPGAN aims at developing Practical Algorithms for Real-world Face Restoration. Online demo: Baseten.co (backed by GPU, returns the whole image). We provide a clean version of GFPGAN, which can run without CUDA extensions. So that it can run in Windows or on CPU mode. GFPGAN aims at developing a Practical Algorithm for Real-world Face Restoration. It leverages rich and diverse priors encapsulated in a pretrained face GAN (e.g., StyleGAN2) for blind face restoration. Add V1.3 model, which produces more natural restoration results, and better results on very low-quality / high-quality inputs.

DB Browser for SQLite

DB Browser for SQLite (DB4S) is a high quality, visual, open source tool to create, design, and edit database files compatible with SQLite. DB4S is for users and developers who want to create, search, and edit databases. DB4S uses a familiar spreadsheet-like interface, and complicated SQL commands do not have to be learned. This program is not a visual shell for the sqlite command line tool, and does not require familiarity with SQL commands. It is a tool to be used by both developers and end users, and must remain as simple to use as possible in order to achieve these goals. Import and export records as text, import and export tables from/to CSV files, import and export databases from/to SQL dump files, issue SQL queries and inspect the results, examine a log of all SQL commands issued by the application, plot simple graphs based on table or query data.

VSCodium

Microsoft’s vscode source code is open source (MIT-licensed), but the product available for download (Visual Studio Code) is licensed under this not-FLOSS license and contains telemetry/tracking. The VSCodium project exists so that you don’t have to download+build from source. This project includes special build scripts that clone Microsoft’s vscode repo, run the build commands, and upload the resulting binaries for you to GitHub releases. These binaries are licensed under the MIT license. Telemetry is disabled. If you want to build from source yourself, head over to Microsoft’s vscode repo and follow their instructions. VSCodium exists to make it easier to get the latest version of MIT-licensed VSCode. Please note that some Visual Studio Code extensions have licenses that restrict their use to the official Visual Studio Code builds and therefore do not work with VSCodium.
