Подключение к VPN IPsec в Manjaro Linux

Небольшая инструкция по настройке подключения к IPsec VPN с помощью L2TP.

Проблема

Network manager в Manjaro предлагает несколько вариантов создания VPN подключения. В моем моём случае для IPsec есть 2 варианта: libreswan и strongswan .

Проблема в том, что ни один из этих вариантов мне не подошел, т.к. мне предоставили только IP сервера, общий ключ, имя пользователя и пароль.

Точнее, через них я как то раньше настраивал, но забыл. Поэтому, покопавшись в интернете, нашел, что для такой ситуации будет достаточно использовать L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol).

Настройка

Выбираем в списке доступных типов соединений L2TP и нажимаем «+ Create»:

Откроется окно создания подключения.

Основные настройки:

  • В «Gateway» указываем предоставленный нам IP (или домен) сервера;
  • В «Username» — имя пользователя;
  • В «Password» — пароль;
  • Способ хранения пароля, желательно, оставить по умолчания — зашифрованным, доступным только для текущего пользователя;
  • «Authentication type» оставляем по умолчанию «Password».

Настройки IPsec

Нажимаем на «IPsec settings. » и попадаем в настройки IPsec.

  • Включить туннель IPsec в L2TP;
  • Выбрать тип «Pre-shared Key (PSK)» (общий ключ);
  • И указать в поле ниже выданный нам общий ключ.

В предыдущем диалоговом окне можем задать имя соединения, если нужно, после чего нажимаем «Save».

Соединение появится в списке доступны и мы сможем его использовать:
