How to Update Belkin Bluetooth Device Device Drivers Quickly & Easily

In Windows XP, click Start -> Control Panel -> Performance and Maintenance -> System -> Hardware tab -> Device Manager button

How to Install a driver from Device Manager

Locate the device and model that is having the issue and double-click on it to open the Properties dialog box.
Select the Driver tab.
Click the Update Driver button and follow the instructions.

In most cases, you will need to reboot your computer in order for the driver update to take effect.

Tech Tip: Driver downloads and updates come in a variety of file formats with different file extensions. For example, you may have downloaded an EXE, INF, ZIP, or SYS file. Each file type has a slighty different installation procedure to follow.

и прогры с дровами не устанавливаются т.к. не видят блюта.

Народ, та же проблема, начал вникать в bluetooth, нужно в качестве образовательной цели, оказывается что уже есть спецификация 3.0, но сейчас вопрос идет с Вами о 2.0 и 2.1
Пытался создать виртуальную точку доступа, чтобы создать по аналогии с Wi-fi — локальную одноранговую сеть, как спецификация позволяет до 7 устройств.

Под XP у меня соединились Toshiba stick driver and Broadcom. А вот под 7 не хотят с профилями локалки соединяться.

Кто сталкивался — под bluetooth контроллеры подходят только свои драйвера одного производителя, или есть универсальные? Я кроме Toshiba и Broadcom — ничего не встречал. Все остальные вендоры используют их драйвера, и если подходит Toshiba, то не идет Broadcom и наоборот. Во всяком случае на всех ноутах, что я перепробовал только так.

это говорит о том, что твое устройство несовместимо с Broadcom. Broadcom — официально поставляется для устройств например Jabra — как здесь
