PyTrader — Drag & Drop MT4 & MT5 Python API Connector for Metatrader

The Pytrader ecosystem consists of a python script and a MT5 or MT4 EA. Further for the licensing an indicator is used. Documentation for connecting Metatrader 5 and metatrader 4 with Python using a simple drag and drop EA. A full suited solution and fully tested , fast and efficient.

The communication between the python script and the EA is based on websockets. EA is the Server and the python script the Client. It is always query(function / python script) and output(data / server). The EA does not need to run on same computer as the python script is running on. On our Github link you will find the python script, the EA’s, full documentation, and a Pytrader example script showing how to call the functions. For questions we have also a discord channel. In demo (without licensing indicator) also full functionality, but for a limited number of instruments (EURUSD, AUDCHF, NZDCHF, GBPNZD and USDCAD).

Check versions: Pytrader version _06 works with EA version .06.

В новую версию торговой платформы MetaTrader 5 мы добавили API для запроса данных из терминала через приложения, использующие высокоуровневый язык программирования Python. Он содержит множество библиотек для машинного обучения, автоматизации процессов, анализа и визуализации данных.

Пакет MetaTrader для Python предназначен для удобного и быстрого получения биржевой информации через межпроцессное взаимодействие прямо из MetaTrader 5. Полученные таким образом данные можно использовать для статистических вычислений и машинного обучения.

Также мы оптимизировали магазин торговых роботов и сервис копи-трейдинга — теперь разделы «Маркет» и «Сигналы» работают до 7 раз быстрее. Пользоваться встроенными в платформу сервисами стало еще удобнее, а оценить это теперь смогут и трейдеры, работающие на UNIX-подобных операционных системах: macOS, Linux или Ubuntu. Именно в этом билде появилась поддержка Маркета и Сигналов в Wine.

Кроме того, мы перевели встроенную интерактивную систему обучения на 30 языков, включая испанский, китайский, португальский и немецкий. Советы показываются только для действий, которые пользователь еще не выполнял в платформе. Прогресс трейдера по мере прохождения обучения фиксируется на панели инструментов.

В новой версии платформы добавлена возможность подтверждения телефонов и email, указываемых при открытии демонстрационных и предварительных счетов. Необходимость верификации данных определяется брокером. Если она включена, то при запросе счета трейдеру автоматически отправятся коды подтверждения, а в диалоге появятся специальные поля для их указания. Коды подтверждения действуют в течение нескольких минут.

Вдобавок ко всему мы расширили возможности оплаты сервисов MQL5.community через PayPal. Теперь трейдеры могут совершать покупки одним кликом, если после авторизации в PayPal разрешили дальнейшие платежи компании MetaQuotes Software:

К выходу MetaTrader 5 build 2085 была проведена большая внутренняя оптимизация тестера стратегий — это значительно ускорило тестирование на ряде задач и повысило общую стабильность работы. Среди наиболее крупных улучшений:

• Оптимизирована работа с фреймами на локальных, сетевых и облачных агентах. Теперь они обрабатываются быстрее и никогда не пропускаются.
• Теперь во время выполнения оптимизации тестер стратегий может перераспределять задания на ходу. Если стал доступен новый агент, тестер автоматически сформирует ему пакет заданий из тех, что уже были распределены между другими агентами.
• Расширено журналирование процесса оптимизации — выводится более подробная статистика использования MQL5 Cloud Network.
• Оптимизирована работа облачных агентов тестирования — задания распределяются более эффективно.

In the new MetaTrader 5 version, we have added an API which enables request of MetaTrader 5 terminal data through applications, using the Python high-level programming language

In the new MetaTrader 5 version, we have added an API which enables request of MetaTrader 5 terminal data through applications, using the Python high-level programming language. The API contains multiple libraries for machine learning, process automation, as well as data analysis and visualization.

MetaTrader package for Python is designed for efficient and fast obtaining of exchange data via interprocessor communication, directly from MetaTrader 5. The data received via this pathway can be used for statistical calculations and machine learning.

We have optimized the store of trading robots and the copy trading service: the Market and Signals sections now operate up to 7 times faster. Furthermore, the built-in platform services have become available for traders using UNIX-like operating systems, including macOS, Linux and Ubuntu. The new build features support for «Market», «Signals» and «Search» in Wine.

The built-in learning program has been translated into more than 30 languages, including Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese and German, among others. Hints only appear for the actions which the user has never performed in the platform. The training progress bar is seamlessly displayed in the toolbar.

New options in the updated platform enable verification of phone numbers and emails, as they have been specified by traders when opening demo and preliminary accounts. The need for data verification is determined by the broker. If the option is enabled, confirmation codes are automatically sent to the trader during an account request and special code fields appear in the dialog box. Confirmation codes are valid for several minutes.

We have expanded MQL5.community payment options through the PayPal system. After logging into PayPal, traders can allow further payments to MetaQuotes Software and make other purchases with one click.

In MetaTrader 5 build 2085, we have performed a large internal optimization of the strategy tester, which enables much faster testing for some of the task types and higher operation stability. Major improvements include:

• Operations with frames on local, network and cloud agents have been optimized. Such operations are now processed faster and are never skipped.
• The tester can now redistribute tasks to agents during the optimization process. If a new agent has become available, the tester automatically creates a new package of tasks, using those which were earlier distributed among other agents.
• Optimization logging has been extended: it includes detailed statistics related to the MQL5 Cloud Network usage.
• Operation of cloud testing agents has been optimized: now computation tasks are distributed more efficiently.
