Ошибка подключения к серверу Norton

Ошибка подключения к серверу Нортон, или она же «Cannot connect to the Norton server» в англоязычной версии может возникнуть по нескольким причинам:

Действительно проблема с серверами Symantec (такого почти не бывает) и иногда стоит просто подождать 1-2 дня, перезагрузить компьютер, роутер и попробовать снова выполнить подключение
Ваш антивирус не может подключиться к серверам из-за проблемы в дистрибутиве, иными словами, ваша версия Norton проблемная и требует переустановки
Ваш Norton не может подключить к серверам для активации или авторизации из-за ограничений по географии (гео определяется по IP-адресу)

Проблема может возникнуть абсолютно на любой версии Нортона, поскольку алгоритм работы примерно одинаковый во всех продуктах, будь то Norton Security, Norton Antivirus, Norton Internet Security или Norton 360. Поэтому если в вашем случае придется переустановить программу, мы рекомендуем самую актуальную — Norton 360

Cannot browse the internet with the ExpressVPN Mac App when running Norton 360

This guide will show you how to resolve internet connection issues when running Norton 360 with the ExpressVPN app for Mac.

If you try connecting to the ExpressVPN Mac app while Norton 360 is running, you may:

be stuck on the “connecting” state and cannot browse the internet
be on the “connected” state but cannot browse the internet

To resolve this issue, follow the steps below. After the first step, check if you can browse the internet again. If the issue is fixed, you can skip step two.

1. Keep Norton 360’s Secure VPN off

Norton 360 has its own VPN called Secure VPN. If Secure VPN is on and you try connecting on the ExpressVPN app, you will be stuck on the “connecting” state and will be unable to browse the internet.

To resolve this, turn off Secure VPN:

Open Norton 360.
In the My Norton window, next to Secure VPN, select the downward arrow.
Click Turn Off.
Reconnect to ExpressVPN.

You should now be able to browse the internet.

If the issue is fixed, you can skip the next step.

2. Change Norton 360’s Firewall settings

Norton 360 Firewall’s Connection Blocking determines which applications or services can access the internet. Connection Blocking is enabled by default and might prevent your device from accessing the internet when you are connected to ExpressVPN. To resolve this, you are recommended to disable Connection Blocking.
