    Предыстория такова: в 2017 году купил я себе старенький (2004 г.в.) Dodge Caravan (брата близнеца крайслеровского вояджера), купил с горящими «джекичаном» и «беременным мужиком» (при этом предхоз клялся что подушки живы). После чтения ошибок ключом выяснилось, что «джекичан» горит из-за озябшей первой лямбды, после замены на новую он погас. А вот по подушкам ключом ничего не читалось и дилерского сканера в своём городе я не нашёл, да платить за каждый подход к чужому сканеру казалось глупым. Заказал из китая простенький ELM свисток (точнее начитавшись 4PDA выбрал якобы проверенный вариант, с версией 1.5), приехало такое:

    Сразу после покупки это убожество работало через раз (OBD разъём внутри оказался тупо не припаянным к плате и лишь временами, под настроение, контачил с металлизацией в отверстиях), после пропайки связь с машиной наладилась, версия оказалась правильной, но помогло это не сильно, потому как тут же выяснилось, что большинство «условно диагностического» софта (а перепробовал я десятка полтора разных вариантов) видят через китайский ELM на моей машине только ошибки PCM (блока управления двигателем и коробасом), остальные блоки сидят на другой шине и клонам ELM тупо не видны. А мне, напомню, нужно было прочитать блок подушек.

    Из всего мнообразия для диагностики ошибок по двигателю прижились OpenDiag и TorquePro (этого даже купил во время какой то акции). На моей машине возможности у них оказались одинаково скудными, различие только в свистоперделках.
    Но тем не менее возможностей хватило, что-бы через какое то время приговорить коробку.

    Ремонт коробаса, а потом ещё и кузовной ремонт после аварии актуальность борьбы с «беременным мужиком» сильно снизили, хотя в промежутках была попытка поменять разъёмы датчиков удара на реколовские (ожидаемо не помогло). Приблизительно в это же время наткнулся на софтину от французов ChryslerDRBeThree, в описании обещалось чтение всех блоков, но для этого требовался свисток OBDLink. Долгая борьба с земноводным и муки выбора (а выбрать есть из чего):

    Решил себя не сдерживать и заказал почти максимальный вариант OBDLink MX+, но не из штатов, а с алихи, пара недель ожидания и вот оно:


    Родное пиндосское приложение из гугломагазина проверило серийник и сказало, что свисток настоящий, тут же предложило обновить фирмварь (в общем то только для этого родное приложение и нужно, остальные функции на уровне торчка). Потыкал в машинку торчком и опендиагом — на удивление информации стало отдаваться раза в три больше, чем от предшественника, к примеру появились значения лямбд и ещё какие то цифры (мне оно было без особой нужды, поэтому особо не вникал).
    И вот момент из-за которого всё затевалось, читаем блок подушек и вуаля:

    ЗЫ: Повторять перечисление поддерживаемых протоколов с сайта производителя и алиэкспресса не вижу смысла. Буду ли я рекомендовать его к покупке? Только если какие то блоки машины другими сканерами не читаются, иначе клон ELMки будет всяко дешевле. Владельцам машин из фиатокрайслеровского концерна и фордов всяко стоит задуматься.

    Насколько я ничего не понимаю, круче этого сканера только лаунч и его конкуренты, но там порядок цен совсем другой…
