Делал вот что: Страна Российская Федерация зеркало: ftp://ftp.ru.debian.org или mirror.yandex.ru

правильно заданный вопрос, содержит половину ответа.
перевожу: ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ **: зеркало не поддерживает выбранный релиз (squeeze)

но разве debian еще не поддерживает squeeze

проверь, что у тебя прокси работает, или выбери другое зеркало

proxy работают (пишу через них)

Насчёт других зеркал — может иностранные лучше выбрать?

Почитайте ещё виртуальную консоль 4. Какие ещё ошибки там есть?

Вы также можете использовать консоли 2 и 3, чтобы пробовать разные варианты конфигурации (например, http_proxy=http://10.20.30.40:8123/ wget -O/dev/null http://ya.ru/)

к логам прокси есть доступ? если есть, посмотри, действительно ли запросы от установщика уходят через прокси.

Bad archive mirror error when installing Kali 2016 64 bits

This is the error I get during graphical installation from live USB on 64 bits v2016 Kali version:

Screenshot: Any other country mirror yields the same error. Even changing the original sources.list file:

How To Fix Kali Linux Bad Archive Mirror Problem?

What is a Kali Linux Bad Archive Mirror?

Bad Archive Mirror is a common problem that occurs when you try to install Kali Linux. On a particular window, the installer asks you to choose a mirror from a list to download the components for the OS.

The mirrors depend on the country location you chose previously.

When you choose a mirror and try to proceed, the system shows you the bad archive mirror error.

Why this Error Occurs

It’s good to know the reasons that cause a bad archive mirror. It makes it easier to diagnose the problem and plans a solution.

You will be given a prompt asking whether you want to continue without a network mirror or not. From the options, choose Yes and press Continue.

Since you only installed a minimal version, it’s best to update your system now. To do so, open the terminal. It’s the black box icon with a dollar sign.

To fix your BIOS time(hardware clock), use this command below:

This changes your hardware clock to match your system clock.

Now try to install Kali Linux to see if the issue comes back or not.

Fix 5: Change The Network Connection Of The VM

The last fix we have for you is to tweak the network connection of your Virtual Machine.

Before installing Kali Linux, change your Virtual Machine’s network from NAT to Bridged Adapter.

1. Turn on your VM.
2. Select the OS you want to change the settings of from the left panel.
3. Go to Machine → Settings

1. From the ‘Attached to’ dropdown menu, pick Bridged Adapter.
2. Press Ok and close it.

The NAT setting provides a different subnet for your VM than your host computer. On the other hand, the Bridged Adapter setting makes your VM use the same network as your host computer.

In other words, your VM and host will have separate IPs with NAT, and with the Bridged Adapter, both will have the same IP.

Try to install Kali Linux and see if the problem still exists.

Проблема с установкой Debian 7

Доброго времени суток. Решил установить себе Debian 7 Через VMware 12 Pro. При выборе зеркала архива-выдает ошибку…Может кто знает что за херня то такая…. По видео в ютубе все легко и быстро… Никто не знает что там происходит во время паузы… Кто может через тайм вивер помочь? Заранее спасибо!)

Оно вообще хотя бы old old stable? Приложи лог ошибки, может знающие подскажут.

Неа, oldoldstable — это Debian 8 («jessie»)

Дебилизм — ставить по видео. Там все русским по псевдографике написано, просто читай и делай, что спрашивает.

Зачем такой анахронизм использовать?

При выборе зеркала архива-выдает ошибку.

Используйте полную установку с диска, без подключения к интернету.

После установки меняйте адрес репозитория на существующий.

Debian 7 есть только в виде ELTS, и то скоро и это дропнут. Актуальные релизы это 9 и 10.

Если коротко, то не надо в 2019 году устанавливать Debian 7, так как даже долгосрочная составляющая его поддержки закончилась в середине 2018 года.

А если чуть подробнее, то при установке

1. Возникнет проблема с выбором зеркала, так как Debian 7 уже удалили со всех зеркал, кроме архивного.
2. Будут сложности из-за того, что срок действия электронной подписи, которой заверен репозиторий, давно истек, так что при попытке что-нибудь скачать оттуда apt-get будет сопротивляться.

Зачем тебе Debian 7? Может установишь Debian 10? Он этим летом вышел. Еще поддерживается.

хотел как по видео сделать себе на пк игровой хостинг.. Помогаю в настройках, компиляции т.д. плагинов. Легче было мне делать это на своем сервере, проблем было бы меньше. Так вот все по видео делаю, и когда дело доходит до менеджера apt, то не могу выбрать зеркало.. Ошибка и все. Везде там, и Россию выбирал, и что только не было. Без Облачного хранилище можно дальше идти, но в фаил зилла нужна мне папка не создается. ДЛя настройки панели.. Ошибка только тут, все остальное,вроде как работает..

Ты конкретно говори, что у тебя не так. Показывать какое-то видео и говорить «хочу такое же» бесполезно. Не думаешь же ты, что его кто-то будет смотреть?
