Отключить блокировку экрана линукс минт

Решил попробовать Xfce. Пока вроде нормально работает. Но так же, как и Cinnamon, при бездействии через некоторое время заходит в заставку и ждущий режим с отключением дисплея, а вот выход из этих режимов требует введения пароля, хотя сама загрузка системы (после перезагрузки) пароля для входа не требует (но это я поставил, когда устанавливал систему, чтобы она автоматически заходила). Можно ли как-то отключить требование пароля на выходе из заставки и ждущего режима?

Попробовал сделать вот это:

org/gnome/desktop/lockdown/ в dconf-editor, поставить галку в disable_lock_screen

Вообще ничего не нашёл. Папки org/gnome/. в системе нету.

gconf-editor /apps/gnome-power-manager/lock/

Тоже безрезультатно. Он вообще не знает, что такое gconf-editor.

Смотришь в книгу и видишь фигу
Менеджер питания -> Бкзопасность -> Блокировать экран при переходе в ждущий режим.

Всё сделал, как вы советовали, всё работает: заходит в ждущий режим через 10 минут бездействия, выходит без пароля.

Теперь вопрос такой. А можно ли сделать так, чтобы в ждущий режим не заходил, а вместо этого запускал скринсейвер (заставку) и тоже выходил из неё без пароля? Как это сделать?
Облазил все настройки, ничего не нашёл, где это устанавливается и настраивается. Вкладываю скриншоты своих настроек. Обратите внимание, что настройка скринсейвера Mice вообще неактивна. А в том скринсейвере, где она активна (Balou), при нажатии открывается дополнительное окошко, в котором вообще ничего нельзя изменить.

А ещё хотелось бы сделать так, чтобы у меня работала не какая-нибудь заставка, а подобная той, какая была на Cinnamon. Там у меня отображались электронные часы на тёмном фоне. Или хотя бы такая заставка, как в Windows XP «Сквозь Вселенную» (бегущие звёзды по тёмному экрану). Можно ли где-то достать именно такие заставки для Xfce?

А, может быть, проблема в том, что в Xfce вообще не предусмотрены никакие заставки? Есть ждущий режим — и ладно. И, желая установить заставку, я, фактически, требую от системы невозможного?

Я понял: ничего нельзя достать и нельзя сделать. В xfce, стало быть, заставки не предусмотрены. Ладно, буду обходиться ждущим режимом. В конце концов, главное, чтобы работало, а не всякие украшения системы. Спасибо за ответ.

Добрый вечер всем,есть проблема с менеджером питания.Он как будто не активен,то есть если я хочу например выставить выключения дисплея через 5 минут он его не выключает или не блокирует сеанс,приходиться делать это вручную.Помогите решить проблему

How disable screen lock password

I installed some updates on my Mint 13 and now after a period of inactivity the pc asks me for a password to unlock the screen

How do i disable this feature? I live alone and noone else uses my pc hence no need for it

It may not be exactly the same in each DE, but in Mate open «Control Panel» > «ScreenSaver» and un-check the «Lock screen when screen saver is active» box.

Another place to look would be:

Power Management > Advanced Settings > uncheck Lock on Resume

How to Disable/Enable Automatic Screen Lock in Linux Mint 20 trough CLI

Automatic screen lock is a feature provided by all widely used desktop operating systems. There is a default period of inactivity set in your system settings, after which your screen is automatically locked and you have to reactivate it by either clicking somewhere or entering your login password. This feature is best for scenarios when you need to stay away from your computer for some time and you have some critical data stored on your system. In the meantime, while you were away from your system, any intruder can break into the system and steal your critical data. For this reason, an automatic screen lock is very helpful to ensure the security of your data.

Automatic screen lock is enabled by default on most operating systems. On the other hand, if you are physically present near your computer and simply doing other tasks at the same time, then this automatic screen lock feature may prove to be annoying as you have to enter your password again and again after a few minutes of inactivity. In this situation, you can consider disabling your system’s screen lock feature for some time and then re-enabling it once you are done with your work. Today we will show you how to disable/enable the automatic screen lock via the Linux Mint 20 CLI.

Disabling Lock Screen on Linux Mint and Ubuntu

You can easily disable the automatic screen lock through Linux Mint 20 CLI by executing the following command in it:

$ gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.screensaver lock-enabled false

This command will instantly disable the Linux Mint 20 automatic screen lock and it will not produce any output on the terminal as shown in the image below:

You can conveniently enable the automatic screen lock through Linux Mint 20 CLI by executing the following command in it:

$ gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.screensaver lock-enabled true

This command will instantly enable the Linux Mint 20 automatic screen lock and it will not produce any output on the terminal as shown in the image below:
