Pairing bluetooth to samsung

You can pair devices together via Bluetooth to transfer data, play audio, conduct calls and other functions. Devices must be paired properly before any form of data can be transferred. Please follow the below options to find out how to pair devices together.

Please note: This guide is designed for Australian variant Galaxy devices, if you have an international device and require further support click here to get in touch with your Samsung subsidiary. Bluetooth connections between devices may vary depending on the connecting Bluetooth device specifications.

Bluetooth Pairing via Quick Settings

Step 1. Swipe down on your screen to access your Quick Settings and tap on the to enable Bluetooth.

Step 2. Locate and select the device you would like to connect to

Step 3. Tap Pair on both devices to confirm the Bluetooth pairing request

Step 4. Once the two devices are connected, you will be able to view them under Paired devices

Bluetooth Pairing via Connection Settings

Step 1. Head into your Settings > Connections

Step 2. Tap on the Bluetooth setting

Step 3. Toggle on the Bluetooth setting

Step 4. Select the device you would like to connect to

Step 5. Once complete, you will be able to view the connected device under Paired Devices.

Unpairing

Step 1.Head into your Settings Connections

Step 2. Toggle on Bluetooth to enable this setting, once enabled select the setting to view your paired devices

Step 3. Locate the device you would like to unpair and tap the Settings
Step 4.Then finally tap on Unpair

Даже в пределах этого диапазона качество звука может ухудшаться из-за таких препятствий, как стены или двери.
• При возникновении электромагнитных помех от устройств, работающих в том же частотном диапазоне, устройство Bluetooth может работать некорректно.

1 Swipe down on your screen to access your Quick Settings and tap on the to enable Bluetooth.

If you are having troubles locating the Bluetooth device you would like to connect to, ensure you have enabled phone visibility or pairing mode, also check the Bluetooth setting has been turned on. If you are connecting to another Galaxy phone and Phone Visibility isn’t turned on head into Settings > Connections > toggle on Phone Visibility.

How to connect Bluetooth wireless headphones or earbuds to your phone or tablet

Bluetooth is a wireless technology that uses a radio frequency to transmit data over short distances. It’s most commonly used to wirelessly connect to headphones and to transfer files. All Bluetooth devices need to be paired before they can be used.

Please note: before trying to connect your devices make sure both your headset and smartphone or tablet are switched on

4 This screen will display any device you have paired to previously and the Available devices

Please note: most Bluetooth devices need to be actively pairing to be displayed as an available device. Refer to the instructions for your specific Bluetooth device to turn on Bluetooth pairing

6 A pop up will appear with a Bluetooth pairing request, tap Pair to confirm you want to connect

Depending on the device you’re connecting to, the devices will now be paired, or you’ll be asked to enter a PIN to confirm the connection.

Please note: if you have to enter a PIN it will usually be displayed on the device or on your phone screen. If no PIN is being displayed, entering 0000 will often work. If not, refer to the instructions that came with your device

Troubleshooting

If you are having difficulty connecting using Bluetooth, or the device seems to have lost connection, try the steps below to get connected.

Turning both devices off and then on again can often fix the issue. Restart your phone and your Bluetooth device and then try to connect again.

The Samsung Members app allows you to test the hardware of your phone by performing diagnostic checks.

Please note: on older versions of android these checks can be found under «Interactive Checks»

5 Your device will run a test on the Bluetooth feature. Once your device has finished checking, the status should appear as Normal

Depending on your Bluetooth device you may be able to change the permissions. For example, you can disable your Galaxy Buds from being used for calls. Check your permissions to make sure your paired device can use all the features you need.

Connecting to a device using Bluetooth requires an active Bluetooth connection from the device and your phone.
