I have double-checked that the WiFi password listed on Instabridge is correct, but I can’t get connected. What’s the reason for this?

The signal strength could be weak, you could be standing too far away from the WiFi router, or the internet could be down temporarily. Your best bet to get connected to this WiFi is to ask the WiFi owner if they can restart the router and try after a few minutes.

It says “Connect with Instabridge” in the native WiFi manager on my iPhone or iPad, but it does not connect. What’s the reason for this?

If the signal strength is weak, the internet is not working, or the password on Instabridge is incorrect, we will not be able to connect you. The text “Connect with Instabridge” will still show in your native WiFi manager since we have been able to combine it with other users. If it is only a matter of the signal strength being weak or the internet being down, we might be able to connect you at another time.

I want to hack a WiFi – how do I do it?

Instabridge will not be able to help you with this since Instabridge is a WiFi-sharing community and not a hacking app.

Why can’t I connect to my neighbor’s WiFi?

If your neighbor did not choose to add WiFi as a “public WiFi” (=shared for anyone to use) on Instabridge, you could not access that WiFi. Instabridge is not a hacking app – we are a WiFi-sharing community, and our users decide which WiFis to share with anyone.

How do I remove my WiFi from Instabridge?

If you added the WiFi:

Go to your profile on Instabridge and select the WiFi you want to stop sharing or delete.

On Android

Click on the three dots in the upper-right corner, and select “Remove WiFi.”

On iOS

Click on “Options” in the upper right corner, select either “Make Private” if you want to keep your WiFi on Instabridge but not share it with anyone else, or select “Delete” if you’re going to obliterate the WiFi from Instabridge.

How do I edit a WiFi on Instabridge?

Change password, edit venue, change position on the map, re-do speed test

You can only edit password and medium and re-doing speed tests on Instabridge. If you are the one who added the WiFi in the first place, you can access and edit the WiFi through your profile. If it is a WiFi that you did not count, you can edit the WiFi when you are connected to it by opening the Instabridge app and choosing that WiFi.

If you want to change position on the map of a WiFi and the correct venue has already been set, you will not be able to change position on the map since the part of the platform comes from a third party. However, we would love to hear from you if you find a WiFi with the wrong location on the map; please take a screenshot showing the map’s WiFi and where it should be. The easiest is to have your location settings turned on and stand where the WiFi is located, so we can see your position on the map about where the WiFi is currently shown. How can I add a WiFi password to the Instabridge app?

On Android

Open the drawer by tapping the top left icon and go to Connect to WiFi. Click on Other WiFi here and tap “+” next to the WiFi you want to add.

On iOS

Connect to the WiFi, open the Instabridge app, click Add WiFi, and follow the steps.

Can I ask Instabridge to remove my WiFi?

Yes. If you added it yourself, you can remove it yourself via the Instabridge app. If you did not add the WiFi, please fill in this form: Report WiFi.

Why is my WiFi password on Instabridge?

If your WiFi password is on Instabridge, you or one of our users has added it. If you do not wish to have your password on Instabridge and have added it yourself, you can remove it via the app. If you do not want to have your password on Instabridge and someone else has added it, please fill in this form: Report WiFi.

Does this app hack WiFi passwords?

No. The WiFi you find on the Instabridge platform has been added by users like you and me, the Instabridge community. Hence, the app does not hack; the users manually add WiFis to Instabridge that they can connect to. If WiFi has not yet been added to Instabridge, you can add it if you know the password and are within reach of the WiFi signal.

Can I find my WiFi password using Instabridge?

Only if you or someone else have added it if you have added your WiFi password as a private WiFi on Instabridge can you access it only via your app version or your Instabridge account if you choose to log in. If you have added your WiFi password as a public WiFi on Instabridge, you can access your WiFi through any Instabrige app.
