Начиная с 31 марта 2020 г. станут недоступны установочные файлы 32-разрядных версий PlayMemories Home, Action Cam Movie Creator и MVR Studio на ОС Windows и ОС Mac, а также для Sony Raw Driver.

Для пользователей Windows:

Станут недоступны с 31 марта 2020 г. установочные пакеты для:

• PlayMemories Home (32-разрядная версия)
• Action Cam Movie Creator (32-разрядная версия)
• MVR Studio (32-разрядная версия)
• Sony Raw Driver

64-разрядные версии PlayMemories Home и Action Cam Movie Creator для ОС Windows остаются доступными.

Стоит ли волноваться?

Это не затронет большинство пользователей компьютеров с Windows. Потому как уже более 7 лет компьютеры и ноутбуки выпускались преимущественно с 64-битными процессорами и 64-битными версиями Windows, и на них можно будет дальше использовать новые версии PlayMemories Home и Action Cam Movie Creator.

Компания Microsoft прекратила выпуск и поддержку 32-битных версий Windows 7, Windows 8 и Windows 10, поэтому публикация и поддержка версий приложений под эти версии операционной системы также уже не представляется возможной.

Sony RAW Driver — это драйвер для операционных систем Windows 7 / Windows 8.1 / Windows 10, который добавляет поддержку в файловый менеджер «Проводник» и штатное средство просмотра изображений ОС возможность отображения эскизов файлов и просмотра файлов ARW и CR2. В данный момент времени большинство ПК на Windows имеют актуальные версии Windows 10, в которых уже присутствует* поддержка отображения эскизов файлов Sony ARW/CR2 и просмотра в штатном приложении для просмотра файлов изображений.
* для некоторых «сборок» Windows 10 может потребоваться установка бесплатного расширения отображения RAW файлов из Microsoft Store

Если вы не уверены в том, используется ли на компьютере ОС Windows с 32-разрядной или 64-разрядной архитектурой, проверьте информацию об этом в Проводнике Windows. Для этого нажмите правой кнопкой мыши «Этот компьютер» или «Мой компьютер» и выберите «Свойства». В разделе «Тип системы» будет указано «32-разрядная операционная система» или «64-разрядная операционная система».

Если у вас компьютер с 32-битной версией Windows или 32-битным процессором, рекомендуем до 31 марта 2020 года скачать и установить 32-битную версию указанных выше приложений или связаться с производителем операционной системы или ПК по вопросу возможного апгрейда процессора или ОС до актуальных 64-битных версий

Следующие службы прекратят свое действие с 31 марта 2020 г.:

Также обратите внимание, что после обновления операционной системы Mac до версии macOS 10.15 вы больше не сможете использовать PlayMemories Home, Action Cam Movie Creator и MVR Studio.

Последние версии операционных систем (ОС) Microsoft и Apple позволяют передавать файлы с камеры или видеокамеры на компьютер без необходимости установки дополнительного программного обеспечения. Для использования других функций, предлагаемых этими приложениями, рекомендуется установить на компьютер программу Sony Imaging Edge (для фотографий), предварительно установленное программное обеспечение операционной системы или другое программное обеспечение, доступное на рынке.

Уведомление о прекращении возможности загрузки PlayMemories Home
Загрузки PlayMemories Home вер.5.5 (версия для 32-битных операционных систем) были прекращены 31 марта 2020 года.
Предоставление услуг загрузки PlayMemories Home для версии Mac планировалось прекратить 31 марта 2020 года. Однако период продлен, и загрузки по-прежнему доступны.

Notice for end of download availability of PlayMemories Home
Downloads of PlayMemories Home Ver. 5.5 (version for 32-bit operating systems) were ended on March 31, 2020.
The download service for the Mac version of PlayMemories Home was scheduled to be terminated on March 31, 2020. However, the period has been extended, and downloads are still available.

• The Windows 64-bit version of PlayMemories Home will continue to be available for download.

How to install the PlayMemories Home software.

Where can I get a copy of the PlayMemories Home software?

IMPORTANT: This article applies only to specific products and/or operating systems. Check the Applicable Products and Categories section of this article before starting these steps.

For transferring / importing of images to your computer refer to the following FAQs

Follow the steps below to download and install PlayMemories Home to your computer:

• Your computer must have one of the operating systems listed below preloaded when shipped from the factory. We cannot guarantee correct operation on computers that are upgraded to the above operating systems and those with multi-boot environments.
  • Windows computer
    • Windows 8.1 *1
    • Windows 10*1 *2
    • Windows 11 *2

    *1 64-bit only
    *2 Computers with Intel or AMD processors (does not work on ARM-processor-based computers)

    • When performing the installation, make sure you are connected to the Internet from start of installation until the end.
    • If PlayMemories Home is already installed, when you exit the software you may see the message Ready to begin updating PlayMemories Home to a new version. Do you want to update?
    • If you select Update Now, it will automatically update to the latest version of PlayMemories Home and re-build the image folders used by PlayMemories Home.
    • Because rebuilding the folders can take a long time, if you have saved a large number of images it is recommended that you click No for the time being, and then perform the update after temporarily removing the folders registered to PlayMemories Home.
    • If you are installing PlayMemories Home for the first time, follow these steps.
    1. Go to the PlayMemories Home main page.
       • For Windows
       • 1. Navigate the page and click on the Install PlayMemories Home button.
         2. Click Save to download the file.
            Choose a convenient destination to save the file, such as your Desktop or the Downloads folder.
         1. Navigate further down to the bottom of the page and click on Download Mac version here.
         2. Navigate this page and click on the Install PlayMemories Home button.
         3. Click Save to download the file.
         • Use the standard settings: Images stored in the computer’s «Pictures» folder will be displayed.
         • Use custom settings: Images stored outside the computer’s «Pictures» folder can be displayed in PlayMemories Home. Select this if you do not want to display the «Pictures» folder, or if you want to individually specify the folders where images are saved, for example on an external hard disk.

         NOTE: PlayMemories Home downloads related files while the installation is being performed. Be sure to stay connected to the Internet until the installation has finished. If the Internet environment is unstable and disconnects, the installation will be interrupted. If you are unable to install while connected to the Internet, or if the connection is unstable, follow the link below to download the full module installer and perform the installation in a similar manner.
