i use hg8347r from isp, it connects landline telephone and pc, wifi is off for i only use 4g.
using 4.1.4 or 4.1.5: once everyday internet disconnected, indicator lights normally on were blinking(that include the landline).which means the whole router not working. turn off and on the router also close qbittorrent, then back to normal. after that, i can restart 4.1.4 or 4.1.5 again and using it for hours.
of course,closing qbittorrent is necessary,otherwise the blinking goes on. everything back to normal the moment 4.1.4 or 4.1.5 closed. like i said: once everyday.

Qbittorrent 4.3.0.1, running on Windows 10 x64
What is the problem
When qbittorrent is running my internet connection stops randomly every 5-10 minutes, for 10 or 15 seconds(sometimes 20-30).
When I close it, my internet doesn’t stop.
I have around 60 torrents seeding, and I need them all seeding.

Probably shitty network hardware that can’t handle the number of connections typically involved in BitTorrent activity (e.g. routers with very limited hardware resources and/or flawed software) and/or shitty network drivers.

Yes, it’s possible. Over the years with seen a lot of shitty proprietary software causing all kinds of issues with qBittorrent and other programs, form anti-viruses to gaming overlays, «system optimizers», among others.

I’m almost certain it’s MalwareBytes and more specifically, their Web Protection module. That wreaked havoc for me with qBittorrent, causing all sorts of issues from QB freezes, OS lockups, crashes, to even Security Kernel BSODs. Since disabling their Web Protection module, everything has been fine. However, I will admit, I have Bitdefender also, so disabling MB’s Web Protection module does not leave me totally defenseless and I still have the other MB modules turned on.
Finally, while turning off MB’s Web Protection module seems to immediately solve the problem, you may want to reboot your machine after deactivating the module just to be sure the service is completely stopped.

I’m going to repost a comment here I left on a similar issue.
TL:DR — Torrent clients can overload NAT tables on old/mid range home routers, especially with DHT enabled. This causes a lot of dropped/misbehaving TCP and UDP connections which ‘feels’ like the internet is slow. DNS lookups fail, web browsers constantly have connections time out and retransmit, some pages load but there are missing pictures.
On internet connections we tend to focus on bandwidth as a cause of performance issues. One less known variable is firewall/NAT performance, and this is one most Torrent clients HAMMER the proverbial crap out of.
For every TCP/UDP connection, your firewall/gateway/router has to create a table entry to maintain the session which tracks the inside/outside IP and port pairings for each session. This way when a packet comes back from a website or other server, your router knows it goes back to your laptop’s internal LAN IP address (usually 192.168.x.y).
During normal network usage maybe 50-200 sessions are established per device when active, and most home routers/gateways are designed to handle that for 10-20 devices. So maximum session table size for many home routers are in the range of 1500-5000 and beyond if it’s something more recent and beefy.
Torrents and especially DHT nuke NAT session tables! Once the table fills up, the router cant keep up and starts dropping sessions constantly — this causes a lot of TCP and UDP sessions to get dropped constantly and slows down the user experience. It also snowballs as the user’s laptop reacts by trying to create more sessions and re-transmissions to compensate for the connection problems it’s experiencing. Bandwidth is still the same but router has no idea what’s coming and going so everything starts to break down and kinda hobbles along sub-optimally.
Most torrent clients have a max-connection setting to help work around this issue, but so far I’ve noticed DHT doesn’t care about this max setting. So leaving DHT enabled will cause NAT table overload for most older or budget oriented home routers. Turning DHT off in qBittorrent really helps with this, and it’s smart enough to not disable it completely — it will use DHT for a short time when magnet links need to be resolved, then close all the DHT connections. So you may get some glitchy network performance for a short period at the beginning which then subsides soon after. Use this with a conservative max connection count setting of 200-500 and you should see some improvement.
Smallnetbuilder.com does some amazing reviews and benchmarking of home network products. If you want to know how well a home router will handle P2P type traffic, look for «Maximum Simultaneous Connections» under the «Routing Performance» section of any router review.
This is not a qBittorrent bug/issue, it’s a less known router performance issue most are not aware of.

стоял k-torrent, заменил на qbittorrent ситуация та же. Выключаю программу, передергиваю wi-fi-свисток из usb и снова работает.
причем при включенном torrent-клиенте передергивание спасает минут на пять не больше и связь снова рвется. Зеленый индикатор на свистке перестает мигать и просто горит постоянно или выключается.
Может быть в настройках клиента следует уменьшить «Максимальное количество устанавливаемых соединений» и «Максимум соединений на один торрент»?
даже одно соединение на торренте на спасает.
Свисток виснет просто от запуска торрент-клиента или когда скачка/раздача начинается?
Скорость ещё можно убавить.
Нет, сначала скачивает, причём может скачать пару гигов, а потом зависнуть, а может зависнуть через второю сотни скачаных метров. Не могу найти зависимость. Даже в настройках менял расположение скачеваемого и скаченного контента на другой физический диск, который монтируется при запуске системы..
Причём при во время зависания ifconfig кажет wlan0 в включенном состоянии, сам свисток менял на другой и другого производителя.
Так же хочу заметить что от провайдера я имею скорость около 10мб а скорость скачивания выше 2,5мб даже в пике не поднималась.
Так же при зависании, любое другое устройство без проблем имеет интернет через тот же роутер..
Вполне возможна несовместимость wifi модулей роутера и свистка. Расскажите — что за роутер , что за свисток, в каких режимах работают. Кроме того, может быть сильно загаженный эфир — лечится переходом на другой канал, только предварительно надо понять сколько соседей и на каких каналах. Вариантов масса — для получения метода решения необходимо детальное изучение ситуации.
Роутер, d-link dir 300… свистки d-link и tp-link, когда настаивал роутер, то сначала сканировал сеть и взял свободный канал, тот же что и свистки поддерживают, вчера смотрел, на канале сижу только я.
На роутере wlan статический IP, lan — dhcp..
Вы можете дать количество соседей и на каких они каналах. И на каком Вы.
ЗЫ длинки роутеры не лучший выбор . С ними всегда много секаса. Основные две болезни — перегрев и питание.
Это из первых удачных партий, опять же другие устройства в этот момент интернет получают в полной мере. Пинг идёт стабильный, список соседей смогу нарисовать чуть позже, когда до дома доберусь. А сам использую 11 канал .
Данную проблему копаю наверное с год. И победить не могу, потому и обратился сюда)) приятно, что люди отзываются))
Хотя про смену роутера уже давно думаю.. Взять какой нить линксис.
dir 300 работает в режиме 802.11g c полосой 20Mhz, если рядом сосед имеет что-то мощное и современное с 802.11n с полосой 40 Mhz и сидит на соседнем канале — 98% вероятности что будут сбои. Чтоб минимизировать глюки нужен список. Если есть телефон с андроидом — есть под него хорошая программка wifi analyzer ей очень удобно исследовать эфир окружающий. Посмотрим.
Думаю, что таки проблема не в этом, без торрента могу качать тот же ftp или смотреть ютуб, но соединение не рвётся. Из этого делаю вывод, что физика роутер — свисток живут хорошо. У меня ощущение, что тут программная ошибка. Может фаервол бесится, но на роутере он отключен.
Чтоб убедиться в этом надо когда ляжет торрент проверить веб или попинговать что-то. если не пройдет — значит падает канал.
Но судя по этому:

это аппаратная проблема.
