Rainbow Six Siege is a popular multiplayer FPS game that utilizes the BattleEye anti-cheat engine. Primarily, it does not support Linux.
What computer can run Rainbow Six Siege?
Your PC needs at least an Intel Core i5-2500K or an AMD FX-8120 for CPU, and it needs at least a GeForce GTX 670 or a Radeon HD 7970.

I would just port windows for FreeBSD. ez i always use VMware workstation to try different systems,bt never port my real system for others

There actaully is a thing called Proton u can enable in steam settings.
Never tried it, but sounds like it will work.

Sadly, it doesn’t work with R6 Siege and a bunch of other games. ProtonDB and SteamPlay work with about 75% of games very well, but it struggles with a lot of that 25% of other games. It tends to have a lot of issues with games with anti-cheat systems such as BattleEye, which R6 Siege uses and requires. Though ProtonDB is working to try and make games with anti-cheat compatible. Personally, I would say Linux gaming won’t be as good as on Windows for at least a year to a few years.
