ricoh aficio sp c240dn printer (not working) with ubuntu 18.04.3 lts

what do i need to do to get my printer to print Ubuntu recognises the printer when plugged into usb but drivers come up for a different model printer and does not work. could somebody please tell me how to get it to work step by step in laymans terms thanks.

I am also struggling with this printer in Arch. I am using CUPS, it seems there is a PPD driver for this printer, but nothing works.

According to the following information, ricoh aficio sp c240dn only supports the DDST print driver of Windows and Mac OS.
