Like other reviewers have said, this app needs instructions. After reading other reviews and using it to try and find a Fitbit, I have gathered that most devices have meaningless names within the app. The RSSI is a signal strength measurement. They are negative numbers, so note that higher numbers will appear smaller. In my experience the signal strength hovered between -99 and -85 until you got within 10 feet of the object. Remember that the signal goes right through the floor and that there will be «pockets» of increased signal strength due to the interaction between the signal and metallic objects within the house (or the walls) that can make it misleading at times to use it as a tool for finding a lost Bluetooth device. When the signal got up to -60 I knew I was pretty close — I was within 3 feet. It rose above -50 when I was around one foot away. So in short it fluctuates around a lot until you’re pretty close, but -60ish meant I was on the right trail!! Good luck with your search!

Downloaded and found my Fitbit within 2 min!!

Love it! Thank you sooo much developers of this app! I lost my Fitbit last night at school. I had it in my back pocket, so I feared that it was lost at school, maybe in the bathroom. I *hoped* it would be in my car or at home somewhere. I downloaded this and figured out which set of numbers/letters (as noted in other comments) it must have been by which one was moving up and down the most drastically when I moved around the house. For example, the Bluetooth speakers I have downstairs stayed relatively at the same strength as I moved around upstairs. I moved from room to room, literally holding my phone an inch above the floor, until I spotted it. If you’ve seen a Fitbit tracker, you know how small these things are!! I found it under my bed—never would have looked there. It must have flown out when I took off my pants when I got home last night. Anyways, so glad I didn’t lose it. This app is awesome!

Found my Jot Touch Pixelpoint

Was in the middle of working on a school project and I use my Jot Touch to take notes on my iPad. I could’ve easily searched the house like a madman, but thought, ‘what if I could search for the Bluetooth signal?’. I looked online, found this app and though it took some figuring out, I found my stylus. Keep in mind, the app doesn’t have an actual ‘zero’. For me and others on here, -50 was my zero. Turning the sound on made it easier as well. Looking forward to seeing what updates they come up with!

Я тут почитал отзывы и мне аж жалко стало разработчика, каким затупкам приходится ему отвечать. Вы, не далёки имбицилы, покупайте wifi адаптеры и будет вам счастье. Хорош мозги парить этому прекрасному человеку!))

На айос не работает с китайцами 327 по блютузу, лр , сааб, опель, кадиллак, на андроиде эта программа с китайцами 327 (разными)с вышеперечисленными авто работает отлично

Добрый день! Устройства на iOS поддерживают только адаптеры ELM327 с Bluetooth версии 4.0 или адаптеры Wi-Fi.

Адаптеры с более старыми версиями Bluetooth на устройствах Apple использовать невозможно из-за ограничений со стороны Apple.

Если Car Scanner при поиске Bluetooth адаптера не видит Ваш адаптер — значит у него старая версия Bluetooth и его невозможно использовать с iPhone/iPad.
Ни одна программа не сможет использовать такой адаптер, потому что ограничения установлены Apple на уровне самой операционной системы.

Once connected to a BLE peripheral, the user can discover all the services and characteristics that are enabled in the peripheral. It lets the user read, write or enable notifications as appropriate for the discovered characteristics. LED BLE 4+

So these lights are great the app worked great the first time I used them/plugged them in. I had to move and unplug them. When I wanted to put them back up the app would not for the love of the holy lord let me connect. It would show them as a thing to be connected in my settings, but when I connected then went back to the led BLE app to connect them to the app it wouldn’t let me. I followed one of the other reviews very intriqué instructions to be able to reconnect them. But of course it only worked the first few times then I was stranded not know how to connect. Theme of the story, don’t buy these unless you are willing to put up a fight to connect them to your phone.

App is kludgy, but…

The light is fantastic. The app is a little wonky depending on how it’s used. The color wheel and light selections seem to be fine. When you switch to music mode, the functionality starts to unravel. The onboard music player doesn’t work in terms of controlling the light. It shows a song and a list playing, but there is no sound and the light is unresponsive. The microphone does work, and if the phone/device is placed near a speaker, it’s ok. Kind of a bad workaround considering it has a music player built in, but at least there IS a workaround. Seems like an app update could probably fix it, but being new I have no idea how often that may happen. Based on the company website (Poolexa), it’s hard to be optimistic. 2.5 stars for the app, 4.5 stars for the light.

Finally I figured out how to connect app to phone

Like everyone else who uses this app, you will soon learn that you probably can’t pair your phone to your new lights. Here is the trick. Unplug the lights from the power source. Close the Led Ble app. Turn off the Bluetooth. Open the Led Ble app. Turn on your Bluetooth, plug in the lights. Hit scan on the app and it should connect. Sometimes when it disconnects you just unplug the Led light and plug them back in. The app will recognize your phone and pair.
This app has one major problem. Poorly written or non-existing instructions. Also you shouldn’t have to unplug the Led lights and plug them back in, in order to pair to your phone. Other than that, the app works great when it works. It’s pretty fun. They need to just work out a few kinks and get some instructions.

I’m sorry A2DPblocker is not working for you as expected. First you will need to add a non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track to your music library via the iTunes Store app or via iTunes on Mac/PC. Then make sure that you configure A2DPblocker in the following way:

1) Pair your Bluetooth enabled iOS device with your Bluetooth car kit, headset, etc.
2) Launch A2DPblocker and ensure «A2DP Blocker» switch is ON.
3) Add a downloaded non-DRM (i.e. not copy-protected) audio track from your music library to the Playback Queue and adjust the independent volume slider to guarantee A2DP is blocked.
4) Ensure «Remote Control» switch is OFF.
5) Set Default Audio to «speaker+» / «receiver» / «speaker» to block A2DP or «headset+» to default audio output via HFP.
6) Play Playback Queue.
7) Minimize A2DPblocker to the background, but do not close A2DPblocker from the app switcher.
8) Launch and configure your other audio app or begin playing the iPod with the built-in iPod controls or an attached accessory.
