Я так и понял. У официалов драйвер для 4.4.6 максимум. Можно откатить как то ядро или где скачать 4.4.6 или младше?

Как всегда ошибка выскакивает какая то..

Решено Подойдет для вардрайвинга TP-LINK Archer AC1900 (T9UH) в Kali Linux ?

хочу купить данный девайс Wi-Fi адаптер TP-LINK Archer AC1900 (T9UH), но не смог нагуглить по поводу чипсета. В Кали подойдет для вардрайвинга?

судя по вопросу купившего — нет нормальной совместимости с Кали, нужно подбирать определенную версию ( как 722 серией ) подробности ниже

722 купил, отнес здал обратно так как вместо ар 9271 в нем неопределяемый ипсет стоял. чем только не пытался определить какой впихнут так и не смог))) так что 722 тоже не гарантирует что будет именно то что надо))) а этот я не купил а думаю только и так как стоит в днс 2600 то решил сначала все пробить. данный девайс работает в 2 диапазонах и на юсб 3 так что подошел бы на долгие годы)))

ты когда 722 покупал, версия какая на нем была? у меня просто два 722n я покупал их в разное время (разница год примерно) и просто смотрел чтобы версия была V1 он для кали как сын родной, а вот версия V2 там чип уже не тот.

Что бы не было проблем с железками, действовать нужно обыденно:

1) Получаем технические характеристики желаемого железа
— через описане на витрине в магазине
— сайт и документация производителя
— сервисные центры
— горячая линия (телефон почта)

2) совместимость:
— оф сайт утилит с которыми будем работать
— отзывы на форумах по вардрайвингу, забугорные инет магазины

3) внимательность
— приобретая товар читать все до мельчашей буквы
— покупка в серьезных и проверенных магазинах. Случаи когда сервисные центры перепаковывали востановленные железки не ново, могут положить не ту версию в коробку с надписью нужной

TP Link Archer T9UH on Ubuntu

This is a follow-on from my earlier post on TP-Link Archer T9UH on Manjaro Linux .

This time I did the installation on Ubuntu Linux (debian).

TP-Link Archer T9UH : V2 version an excellent low cost AC1900 Dual Band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) WiFi USB 3.0 Dongle

This time with Ubuntu Linux.

I have also recorded a video for this installation. Needed to do that for my friend. May be I will post that video here some time soon.

Let’s look at how I did it.

1. Check USB Connection #

This is just to make sure that we have the device connected.

$ lsusb . Bus 003 Device 003: ID 2357:0106 TP-Link Archer T9UH v1 [Realtek RTL8814AU] . 

If you get the message like above, they your device is connected correctly.

2. Install the Required Tools #

This is an obvious next step. Since we don’t have TP-Link supporting the driver. We need to build it from scratch.

# Refresh the Repository sudo apt update # Install the pieces sudo apt install -y git binutils gcc dkms make # Install the Kernel Bits needed sudo apt install -y build-essential libelf-dev linux-headers-`uname -r` 

3. Download the Driver Source code #

You can find the open-source version of the supported driver on —

# Go to your Downloads cd ~/Downloads # Clone the Specific Version of the Repository git clone -b v5.6.4.2 https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au.git # Let's Visit the Directory the driver source-code we just cloned cd rtl* 

4. Building the Driver #

You should be already in your cloned repository to begin. We did this earlier:

# Build the Code make . # Need Admin Permissions to Start Install sudo make install
