Improved Linux Driver for Railnk USB WiFi Cards RT8070 RT3070 RT3370 RT3572 RT5370 RT5372 RT5572 Based on original Ralink Driver v2.6.1.3 (10/22/2012)

• fixed statistics for recieved packets and bytes count reported by the driver (cat /proc/net/dev)
• compiles on modern Linux kernels. Tested with the version 5.0
• LED on Ralink 3070. In original driver if you compile without LED support (HAS_LED_CONTROL_SUPPORT in os/linux/config.mk) than your LED stays turned on all the time the WiFi card switched on. In this driver the LED will be switched off after you up the interface.

Reverse engineered undocumented features:

• change MAC through configuration file RT2870STA.dat (MacAddress=12:34:45:67:ad:be as first parameter)
• turn off annoying debug messages in kernel log (set debug level, run «iwpriv ra0 set Debug=0», possible levels 0~5)
• WirelessMode=11 (11n-only with 5G band). Was not present in iwpriv_usage.txt

Ralink 150Mbps USB Wireless Adapter Drivers (Windows XP/Vista/7/8 — MacOS X 10.6/10.7/10.8 — Linux)

The Drivers are made for products employed Ralink RT2070, RT3070, RT3072,RT5370, RT5372 chipsets.

The RT2870 is the kernel software of the RT3x7x and RT5x7x Chipset. Ralink didn’t identify the driver difference between RT2870 and RT3x7x, as well as RT5x7x.

1. Windows: RalinkWLAN Driver,MT7601chipset for MT7601 only.

It supports Windows XP/Vista/7/8, RT3x7X supports Windows 2000 also.

2. Linux: 2011_0719_RT3070_RT3370_RT5370_RT5372_Linux_STA_V2.5.0.3_DPO

4. Macintosh: RTUSB D2870-4.2.4.0 UI-4.0.7.0_2012_06_14.dmg

It supports: Mac OS X 10.6/10.7/10.8

5. Add supports of Linux and Windows XP/Vista/7/8 for MT7601 chipset

I bought a Ralink wireless LAN adapter. The driver CD that was included was not the proper driver so the adapter won’t work. Since I can’t find a model number on the adapter, I can’t download a driver online.
