Linpus Linux — это основанная на Fedora операционная система, созданная тайваньской фирмой Linpus Technologies Inc. Linpus Linux — это основанная на Fedora операционная система, нацеленная в первую очередь на предустановку OEM-производителями на нетбуки и ноутбуки. Для конечных пользователей сформирован установочный iso-образ размером 410 Мб.Linpus создан тайваньской фирмой Linpus Technologies Inc. Дистрибутив ориентирован на мобильные устройства с небольшими экранами и низким разрешением, например таким как VGA (640×480). Специальная версия Linpus Lite была написана для запуска на устройствах с низкой производительностью, таких как UMPC. Он имеет icon- и tab- ориентированный «Простой режим» (англ. «Simple mode»), ориентированный на новичков; и стандартный режим (англ. «PC mode») для тех, кому больше нравится интерфейс Microsoft Windows.
Для десктопов разработана отдельная версия Linpus Lite Desktop Edition. Дистрибутив основан на пакетной базе Fedora Linux. Рабочее окружение основано на GNOME 3.2, который переработан в направлении улучшения юзабилити и минимизации числа кликов для запуска программ, просмотра и управления окнами и приложениями. Вкладки управления окнами и приложениями перемещены непосредственно на рабочий стол. Панель инструментов Dock доступна из любого места и отражает в виде эскизов открытые окна избранных приложений. Доступ к социальным сетям, электронной почте и обмену сообщениями организован через единое унифицированное приложение, отображающее через область уведомлений информацию о поступлении новых сообщений и позволяющее сразу ответить на них.
