    As I mentioned in the introduction, each GoPro model has a unique way to reset its Wi-Fi password. Luckily, resetting the Wi-Fi password on your GoPro takes less than two minutes.

    Although you can’t create your own password, your camera will automatically generate one for you. You can then use the new password to connect your smartphone to your GoPro camera.

    When I refer to the Mode button on your GoPro camera throughout this article, this is your GoPro’s power button.

    Let’s discuss how to reset the GoPro Wi-Fi password for your specific GoPro camera model:

    GoPro HERO10 Black and HERO9 Black

    • Step 1: Swipe down on the LCD screen to access the Dashboard.
    • Step 2: Swipe left to access the Preferences menu.
    • Step 3: Tap Preferences >Connections >Reset Connections.
    • Step 4: You will then see a new Wi-Fi name and password that is automatically generated by the camera.

    GoPro HERO8 Black, MAX, HERO7 Black/Silver/White, and HERO6 Black
