Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz Slow Speed over 5Ghz

I have a Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160MHz with 22.20.0.6 driver version on Windows 10 connected in a wifi network of 5Ghz and it download speed is not faster than 25 Mbps. However, when I connect in a 2.4Ghz network the speed goes to 80Mbps.

With others devices the in the same router get 300Mbps indicating that is a problem with the WiFi card.

However it give solution to change the router configuration, but sometimes I can not change the router to make my wifi run better. Futhermore, others devices works properly.

Just to let you know, we recommend to install the Wireless driver provided by the manufacturer of the computer, since that driver was heavily customized by them to work with your specific platform.

I looked in Lenovo’s web site and the latest Wireless driver they have available is version 22.0.1.1, please try a clean installation of that driver following the instructions in the links below:

If the problem persists after that, then once again try a clean installation this time of the Intel® Generic wireless driver version:

You mentioned the computer is new, if it was purchase less than 30 days ago, then what we recommend to get in contact directly with the place of purchase to verify their warranty options, most of the time they have a 30-day warranty in order to replace the unit since the problem could be related to a hardware defect with a component in the machine.

Was the Router provided by the ISP (Internet Service Provider)? This is in order to check directly with them if there is a firmware update available for you to install it.

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS низкая скорость WIFI Intel AX201

• Отключение быстрой загрузки
• Изменение версии ядра (пробовал почти все минорные версии начиная с 5.2)
• Отключение Bluetooth

Скорость интернета до 10 Мбит/с, в то время как на моем старом ноутбуке (ASUS Rog G552VW с Ubuntu 16.04) скорость в 10-12 раз выше, на том же месте.
