OceanDigital WR-26 DAB+/WiFi/FM/DLNA/Bluetooth — портативный приемник

Пользовался раньше Сяомишным радио обеих ревизий — ну очень напрягало периодическое пропадание потоков с нашего проекта «Ximiraga». Да и радио слепое — без смартфона трудноуправляемое. Обзавелся «Волной-2». Все хорошо, но поддержка умерла… ( Попался вот этот товарищ, по цене той же «Волны», только в 4 раза шире функционалом, и решил познакомиться ближе.

Интернет-станции на кириллице отображаются адекватно:

Предустановленных станций легион. Есть выбор по стране, по жанру. Добавлять свои можно через вебку. По Блютус законнектился без проблемм, DAB ничего не нашел — как странно для Коврова… ))) DLNA не пробовал — не вижу смысла при наличии Bluetooth. Если кому надо — могу проверить только с Андроид.
Звук — хорошее моно через динамик и отличное стерео (если станция стерео) на наушники.
FM — поймал все станции, что есть в городе, с RDS.
Аккум (18650*2А) проработал 3 дня по 2 часа каждый вечер от заряда, что остался при получении. Потом зарядил, теперь 4-й день работает в том же режиме, по показометру еще 1 палка.
Что еще… Регулировка подсветки есть, причем можно отрегулировать подсветку при пользовании и подсветку при ожидании! Первый раз такое встречаю, зачем оно. Таймер отключения тоже есть. Эквалайзер.
В общем — все-что-можно-послушать радио. Мне понравилось больше предыдущих.

Does DAB Radio Need WiFi?

Digital radio and internet radio use completely different technologies and so generally can be listened to on separate devices.

However, if you want to listen to digital radio stations on your phone, you will need WiFi as phones don’t come with DAB tuners. This means you can only listen to digital stations on your phone using an app, rather than via a DAB tuner.

When listening on your phone, radio uses data (unless you listen via FM radio). Most Android phones have an FM tuner, but iPhones do not.

Digital radio is broadcast as a series of waves of energy that are picked up by a receiver. These transmissions are in the form of DAB in the UK, although the later and more efficient DAB+ technology is available in other countries and may become the standard here although there are no plans to do this just yet.

A DAB radio or radio tuner is needed to receive these transmissions, giving the benefit of easier access and, in theory at least, better sound quality. DAB radios will also generally have an FM tuner for analogue transmissions.

Listening to Internet Radio

Internet radio is broadcast over the internet and can be listened to using any device that has a suitable connection. Typically, a mobile phone or tablet computer with a radio app is used to access thousands of stations worldwide.

A good quality internet connection is necessary, generally through your home broadband, to ensure a satisfactory listening experience and listening can cost money unless you have an unlimited data allowance.
