WiFi Repeater connects to the WiFi network wirelessly and re-broadcasts the signal. It is just like a relay system that connects to our WiFi network and rebroadcasts the signal to a larger area of our home/office where we have a poor connection or weak signal. WiFi repeaters are easier to set up and configure because it can be placed anywhere at home, even if there is no wired network port. It is often referred to as a network repeater. WiFi Extender connects to Wired network through a wired connection may be Ethernet or coaxial cable to connect to the router. But nowadays newer WiFi Extenders don’t require these.
