Intel Ultimate N Wifi Link 5300
The Intel card can see Wifi networks but will not connect to them
I have a Netgear WG111v2 USB Dongle which has no issue connecting
I’ve tested connectivity with the onboard NIC on several Wifi connections so it is not a connectivity incompatability with the router
pretty much stock install — before writing this up performed the following which did nothing to fix:

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have another one of these laptops i’m giving to a friend and hopefully I can get it up and running for them soon. Mint seems like a nice distro
